Can the holiday gift tokens be traded?

The last lot of gift tokens (12th anniversary) could be traded and used by the recipient rather than only being used by the original owner.

Has anyone tried to see if this is also the case with the new holiday gift tokens?

This would reduce the amount of storage because you could store a token for future use rather than a box, a card and a gift.

A friend and I just tested this on TC, they can indeed be traded.
