Im not too sure on that one. i thought those things wouldn't allow you to place over them. I could be wrong of course as i have not looked into it. I was under the impression that if you couldn't run thru it, you couldn't put a house on it?

Just because something in the program allows you to place, should you?

For a long time I noted this flaw in house placements... and nothing can
be done about it... this house is illegally placed... regardless on what the
sign says...I long wish I had the power to kick these badly placed houses
into permanent ruins, so you can not try to place again...
Better yet! I wish those cannons really destroys buildings.
True the GM is not going to do anything about this. IDOCs should drop as
ruins... for a month duration and it should take Cartography and Mining skills
to dig up the buried containers...
Also, empty plots are an eye sore to this shard...these empty plots should
decay as if there was abandon by the owner.

It's been that way for a LONG time. It's not an exploit nor is it illegally placed. Placement rules were changed years ago to allow for people to place in new areas because the Shards were getting full up.

There are those who play Siege Perilous which say if something can be done
in the game it is not an exploit nor is it illegally placed. We need a new
view in this game that just because you can, should you! We are not crowded
on Siege Perilous; but, are in danger of thinning out. We just going to
continue to just agree to disagree !

No further discuss will change either of our views.

When the rules are specifically changed to allow it, I believe it no longer qualifies as an exploit.

I'm just a wacky thinker like that though.
