OT: Text Messaging

I programmed this simple page to text message any phone you wish in the US.

Many phones still do not have key pads to type on, so this is easier.

Of course I am still developing it, so currently the reply to is [email protected]. instead of your desired phone number.

Anyone wishing to text a phone?

Try it out and report any errors!

Well I tried to send a text to my Cell phone. I still have not recieved the text message.

No! I am not collecting information. I am just playing with this trying to make a work around for the standard SMS messaging. It uses e-mail instead of SMS. Now if I just added a section for the sender to put their name, that would work, but the person who received the message still cant reply.

I meant no offense.. but I get plenty of spam texts (which sucks if you're on a prepaid phone). Maybe it's the old man in me hating technology, or the cheapskate hating being charged 5 cents even if I don't read the text.

Perhaps I should feel left out of the text/electronic leash age but for some reason I am happy with just a home phone.
