Has anyone else had problems using uogamecodes site?

I've recently re-subbed to UO again after nearly 2 years off and so I upgraded to Stygian Abyss [I got this code from EA's site]

I've now been trying to order the 7th Character Slot and Storage Increase Combo Code for over a week now from uogamecodes.com without no luck whatsoever.

When putting in my address and credit card info I keep getting error 23 [my credit card address does not match my billing address] then after about 4-5 attempts at editing my address every which way there is, I eventually get error 31 come up [this is to tell me to ring america for customer support and from there I can buy codes over the phone]

So I try ringing them [I live in england btw so the cost is alot more too] after the options are all done, all I ever get is that all lines are closed.

I've tried ringing them up at different times of the day and still the same answer.

Does anyone in england know how to get these codes other than from uogamecode site?

I've sent a email off to EA's support to see if they can do anytinhg.

I've never known a site like this before, I've been setting up my cc info and address for years now on all different webistes and ordered from loads of different places without any probs at all.

Any help would be great as I'm now at a loss as what to do next.

There are many problems with uogamecodes.com.

The credit card fraudsters really ruined it for everyone else.

Case in point. I tried purchasing gametime using an active account. It says "you've already bought 2 codes this month. You can't buy any more". So I log in using an older inactive account, thinking of buying gametime for my active account.

BAM!
The gametime is automatically applied to my wrong (inactive) account. Sucks.
(Yes I later read the fine print, it's written in there as a disclaimer. So technically it is not their fault. But c'mon.)

I submitted a help email to EA's customer support. They're supposed to reply within 24 hours, but it's been over 3 days and no response.

I just bought a natural hair dye yesterday no issues.

I do live in the U. S. so I know that makes it much easier.

It did say I entered a nonvalid credit card number (maybe I did) once I redid that I had no issues whatsoever.

My hair dye code was in my email almost instantly.

Things I knew before I got started where:

You cannot order from UOGameCodes.com UNLESS you have an active UO account because you will be asked to input the account name and password before you are allowed to buy anything.

If you just reactivated the account you are attempting to use the site may not recognize it yet as an ACTIVE account.

That could take a week to happen, as I have paid for inactive accounts before and it took a week for the account to age another month, the new month that I had just paid.

If you can not wait up to a week for UOGameCodes.com to recognize your newly activated account as Active, then that means a phone call to EA to make a purchase.

EA customer support is only open during normal business hours in the Americas, so you would need to call them between the hours of 8 am and I think it is 4 or 5 pm EASTERN time (recalling from the last time I placed a call to them).

If I am not mistaken England is 5 hours ahead of Eastern time, so you would need to call EA between the hours of 1 pm and 9 pm your time to be able to talk to someone in customer service while they are open.

It might have been around 6-7 days when I first tried to purchase the code from them.
I tried again today and I've been re-subbed now 9 days, but I think I'll leave it a few more days maybe another week before I try to order again just incase thats the issue.

If that still does'nt work then I'll try again to ring them up, but as I said before I've tried ringing them at different times of the day and all times have been between 3 and 7 my time [gmt] and all I've got is 'all lines are closed' unless I'm ringing the wrong number.

This is the number I got from uogamecodes error message: 011-866-543-5435 [outside america]

There is also the issue with older UO accounts needing UO_ to be prefixed onto the account name over on the EA site for the account to be recognized, not sure if UOGameCodes has the same issue or not.


example: account name: uo_accountname
account password: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You could try that but now that you have Cal to assist you you may not want to bother this time (maybe next time).

Oh that error message makes it sound as though customer service can't assist you because you are outside America.

It's all sorted now, I finally got through to EA's customer support using the number I got from uogamecodes site, took about 20 mins on hold and god knows what the cost it to america from england on a landline line but anyway I got there in the end.

Once I got through thou it was all sorted in about 5 mins, and the person on the other end suggested I clear out my browser cache for next time I try to order online, dunno if that'll help anyone else in the future or not.
