Has there been a reason to? Everyone has already eaten one so the only reason to do them is to make gold by selling the scrolls. Not much need for that since the price on these are in the crapper because... you guessed it, everyone already has one.

Yes, after 6 mos you get the +5 Stat Bonus from AoS.

Don't know where Davy is getting his info from. I just got the bonus 2 months ago on Essence.
