Please Have New Items Placed on Top of Old Items

In the classic client, when you drop something in your pack, it falls on top of everything else. In the enhanced client, for some diabolical reason, when you place something in your pack or in a container, it automatically falls behind everything else that is already in there.

Please change this behaviour.

I think Llewen means Legacy containers. I have also noted it. It's really quite annoying to have to flip views to find whatever it was that fell behind my carefully arranged rune books.

Ah... I stopped caring about legacy containers when they downgraded them to the postage stamp 2d sized versions.

As small as they've made it, the items are still scaled awkwardly. It seems that legacy containers should be 1:1 pixels otherwise it's just more "blurry 3D nonsense" as far as Legacy fans are concerned. It's too big to be Legacy, too small to be EC.

Well, other than some minor placing issues, I'm much happier with the legacy containers than I have been in any of the other 3D versions of the client. At least with the enhanced client you can place things and they will show pretty much the same in the classic client. That was not the case in the 3D or the KR clients, and that made them pretty much useless for merchants.

But this whole business of last in last out for item placement is ridiculous.

3d you could once you learned where the "2d zone" was (top left for 3d, bottom center for KR). KR you could, but to a lesser degree.

I find the legacy containers in enhanced client to be reasonably well matched to the classic client. I'm generally able to stock vendors with it, which was my main concern; maintaining backward compatibility. It does annoy me, though, as I'm very particular about placement and I haven't yet got the knack of pre-empting where the EC will drop something.

Ya, I'm pretty picky about where things get placed as well, and I do waste an awful lot of time trying to get items exactly where I want them. :)

It would be nice if there were a "nudge" function for placing items.
