Sunday was more a 'filler' to advance the story than an 'event'. I'm sure folks will add to or correct my summary, but basically -
Fynn met us at the Guard Tower, explained he had taken the 'Orders' found at the Cove orc fort and Mericles' Diary to the Librarian, Floyd, at Castle British to see if they were written by the same person.
Floyd's report, and copies of those two books, are in the library upstairs in the castle - essentially, although similar in many ways, the writing in the two is not the same. Floyd suggests perhaps a shared teacher explains the similarities, so Fynn wondered if there we knew of Mericles 'schooling', or could find other examples of writing to either find a match or prove someone was not the author of 'Orders' (there were suggestions it may be Hannah, but some of us doubt that - a sample of her writing would be useful, but so far we don't seem to have one).
Fynn had to go make a report to Avery, so tasked us with finding more information, and delivering anything we found to the Guard Tower. Between us it was remembered that the Royal Alchemist Carracas was supposedly a schoolmate of Mericles, and there is a 'school report' on Mericles in the Lycaeum which names his old headmaster (apparently dead, but since Mericles was a necromancer, that may not be a problem!) and has a note scrawled at the end which looks to be Mericles work.
That's pretty much all I remember, anyone else feel free to fill in any gaps or correct errors!
And I'm not sure we have got all the information we can out of 'Big Bob' in Yew (
this thread ), anyone know what progress was made with key words or phrases and replies from him?
