Mainly looking for any major holes or areas in need of improvement. Most of my armor was crafted to max resists with the exception of Mace and Shield glasses and Stormgrip so the mods may not be the best. Thanks for looking

Resists are all 70 in vamp form with the exception of cold (68) and energy (75 elf). These mods are without a weapon or shield equipped.

I would say u need 45 hci dci and 40 lmc , the mana regen not so much since youll be leeching, your hpi is good alot of times that is overlooked but it helps, your damage increase could go up too

First of all, you've done a good job putting together a pretty nice suit. I know it is not easy to equip a sampy.

I would agree with Darth regarding your DCI requirements, as well as possibly HCI. If you plan to use only lightning strike, then 45 DCI and no HCI is OK. However, if you plan to use specials, such as whirlwind, you should aim for 45 dci, 45 hci. Fortunately, imbuing should make it easy for you to meet these requirements.

Also, while your buddy is imbuing you some hci/dci jewels, be sure he adds in some lmc and di (or possibly ep). It would be nice to have 30 lmc and 100% di (including your weapon).

Thanks for the replies, I am not using the Rune Beetle Carapice or Fey Legs because I wanted to get my resists maxed so I had to use a Do and legs of my own creation. I could throw in the RBC and legs but there is no way in h3ll I will be able to max resists with those pieces :(.

In my opinion, the DCI is more important than the LMC. Not getting hit is more important than your specials. I use the fey legs but not the RBC on my sampire for that reason. I agree, if you try to use both the RBC and the Fey Legs you will have a very hard time maxing your resists.

With the Conjurer's Garb (5 DCI), Quiver of Infinity (5 DCI), and Fey Leggings (20 DCI) you have 30 DCI. You only need 15 DCI more to max which can be done by one item (either a ring, a brace, or a piece of armor such as Heart of the Lion or the Ancient Samurai helm). With imbuing, I personally think putting all 15 DCI on one ring or brace is the way to go. You can do a little better with the resists by using runic crafted armor with higher mods with potentially extra bonuses such as Stamina and LMC.

What items are giving you DI? With your Stormgrips (25 DI), you are getting 60 from elsewhere. I imaging 20 is from your Primer on Arms and 40 is from your weapon. Do you have no DI on your ring or brace? The Sampire is all about leeches so maxing your damage is key to your survival too.

Agree with Obsidian: if you have to choose between dci and di, go for dci.

Obsidian,

Thanks for the reply, the mods above are WITHOUT a weapon, my hands are free. I have 40 DI on jewlery (22 ring, 18 bracelet), 20 on trinket and the stormgrips as you mentioned for 85% DI without a weapon. I want to take the feeback from this thread to use to imbue a suitable weapon to compliment my strengths.

Thanks,

A

Figured I'd offer a miscellaneous tip: with LMC go for multiples of 10. For most purposes 39 LMC rounds down to 30%, 29 to 20, etc.

Multiples of 5 is ok, but will only affect stuff that costs 20 mana or more.

Ok, then you are over your DI cap of 100% with an exceptionally crafted weapon. The only benefit I see of hitting 100% DI without your weapon is that will allow you to maximize damage with a Soul Seeker (which has 0 DI) for Dreadhorn or repond slayer vulnerable mobs. Or you could imbue some nice non-exceptional weapons without DI which allows you to tuck an extra mod onto the weapon (i.e. SSI, HSL, HML, HLL, and HLA or something like this).

When using a weapon with 40% DI, you may want to consider adjusting your ring/brace combo to help you maximize DCI, HCI, and LMC while still hitting 100% DI. Lots of options, especially with the flexibility of imbued rings and bracelets.

What's the problem with 100% DI? 100% cap was for PVP, not PVM.

The cap is 100% from the damage increase property on items.

The extra 200% possible comes from the slayer property, enemy of one, divine fury, perfection, horrific beast form, etc.
