I'm making a lot of armor now. There are limitations with imbuing. The best armor imo is going to be a combination of artifacts and imbuing. I thought it would be good to incorporate some valorite hammer stuff into it, but that stuff is less perfect than imbued armor for the most part.
I've got this part down to a science, but there are things I'd like some input on.
I'm going to use
Ornament of the Magician 20% LRC 2 FC 3 FCR 10% LMC
Crimson Cincture 5 Dex 10 HPI 2 HPR
Nocutrne Earrings NS
Hat of the Magi 4 MR 8 MI 10% SDI
Conjurer's Garb 2 MR 140 Luck 5% DCI
Totem of the Void 2 HPR 10% LMC
I'm going to add a nice 15 dci spellchanneling val shield.
I developed a method to regularly craft the remaining pieces of leather armor and bring them to all 70s with only 7 imbues. I can make this armor as often as I like because these are pieces the rng doesn't have a problem with. There is a certain amount of variance each time I do this, but it can be done in a timely fashion with an acceptable amount of resources.
I will take it up to 100% LRC with 4 more imbues.
This leaves 14 more imbues on the armor and 5 imbues on the ring.
That is a whole lot of potential modding. We get every resource so that is not a problem.
Here's the question.
What do you guys think is the best mod set for mage armor? I've got 19 imbues to work with. What do you think the best use of them would be keeping in mind this is basically a production suit of armor.
Personally, I like a whole lot of MR, DCI, and LMC. This template will even allow for up to 30 skill points. I'm very interested in learning about your template ideas.
Only God knows how much something like this would sell for because just the items I mentioned before are worth around 65-70m as I see them listed on vendors at this moment.
I don't think its important that this is imbued and can't have powder used on it because all the imbued pieces can be recreated. It's not like a one of a kind piece made by a valorite hammer. If something like that is lost, destroyed, or stolen by an exploit it can render the most incredible suit of armor useless.
I forgot to add the Lieutenant's sash 2 MR 10 LRC 5 Int. I wouldn't count the LRC in the total suit though because I have the ones I have in my pack more than on my characters.
Thanks for your input
