87 Blue Crystals And No Garb!

Chips, I was aiming for 1 robe and turning them in when I hit 40 blues (got 12 so far). Now I have to go to 80 to make sure I get one??

I thought I had a fair margin.. in fact I kind of zoned out there a while & collected way more than I thought (was aiming for 60). 10 minutes after I'd exhausted them all I was annoyed, so I went back to yell at the gypsy (as you do) and the bas... er, lucky fellow.. was healed.Chips, I was aiming for 1 robe and turning them in when I hit 40 blues (got 12 so far). At least you guys can do the quest. I go to transform and collect essence and as soon as I zone into a dungeon I can't collect them anymore.

Well, I have tried using the stuff that changes you into a monster so you can see and collect the Lingering Essence. If I use it outside a dungeon, I go inside and run right through the essence and cannot collect it. If I go somewhere(dungeon wise), transform inside, if I even go from one level to another I cannot collect the essence, if it is crowded and I have to recall to another dungeon I can run through the essence and cannot collect it.
I have tried exiting, logging, everything and I can't get anywhere. The problem started last week and I just gave up even though I really would like to do the quest

Did you grab a Soul Harvester off of the table near the hag? Yep, the bug I have just started late last week, I got a ton of crystals before that without an issue, but even with an empty soul harvester, I just run through the essence (it is completely empty when I do because I can't collect any).

Wow that too bad mate. I hope you at least got a robe before this happened to you. I was doing it last night w/ no troubles so I am not sure what I can tell you that will fix it. Sorry.

I've got a little more than 50 blue crystals now. I had planned to try to heal one of the gypsies tonight, but looks like I will be holding off now.

Took me exactly 50 to heal the one in the orc dungeon, tram on euro. Was sweating at 48!

i got two robes on diff shards. first npc took 46 second took 41.
i'd be really upset if i dropped 80 and got nothing. the quest for blue crystals is a grind for sure. not as bad as getting mace and shield glasses though

There was a post by a dev that said that the most it takes is 50. Ive got 6 robes so far and I took 50 crystals each time and the most its taken me is 46. Did you take 87 crystals and do it in one shot or have you been using the crystals as you get them?
Thats what I want to know. If the OP recalled out to get more someone could have popped up and healed the gypsy and then it could have turned back into a monster while they were still grabbing more crystals.

I thought it took 2 hours to reset though?
I keep saying it can take over 50. I had a customer that said it took 73. My best customer has a LOT of robes. (like i do) He said the guy was a liar. It's always been from 36-50 for me. I just don't know, but I have to figure you guys know how many crystals you take when you get a robe...
Anyone else had similar problems?
It's never been that high for us, but I always tell my customers to take 75 or so. I guess it sounds like I'm trying to sell them more, but I just like happy customers. I LOVE the amount of robes on atl from our hard work. But, to be on the safe side get 100, and then do it.
I have yet to use 50 or more blue crystals...the most crystals I've had to use is 47. Most are between 41&44 crystals. Just last night, I healed the chicka in the Mage Tower with 43. I haven't gotten the bonus plan and dropped 8 crystals and received a robe yet. The very first drop I did was 32 for a robe though.
I always go in with 75crystals due to reading about people that took 60-70 to get a robe and I don't want to get “Jones’d out” on my robe by not having enough crystals on me.

Yup no doubt that's what happened. It was Carl in the orc dungeon, by the way.
The gypsy was at top health when I started, so I expected it to take very few.. looked to be at max health when I finished, but no dice. Trying to decide if I want to attempt it again as nobody seems to be selling the garb on Oceania, except I heard one guy wanted 60m for it. Like I said, though, nobody selling.
I'm have gotten 15 luck robes so far, not a single one has taken me more than 49 crystals, majority of them required somewhere in the 40ish, one of them took me 20 crystals to get but I wasn't sure if other people have already put some of their crystals on this gypsy prior.
Anyone else had similar problems?

I have 5 robes, and I've took 53 crystals with me on each heal. Its taken 43 at most, and the least being 23.
Well, when you can do the quest, morning, noon and night, as I've seen you do, 100 crystals is no big thing, I guess. Most people reading, play when they can. Obtaining a 100 takes a good long time. (man, I hate braggers)
Don't get me wrong, I believe you guys are putting in hard work, but you sell the robes at Neimen-Marcus prices.........

I've quit trying to find any for sale on Oceania, and I'm going to have a second run at being "given" one. To think, this is my favourite holiday..
*edit* Got one, after a further 42 blue crystals.. if only they kept track like Tomas does with the red crystals.

i stealth in there when i want to do the blue crystals. i got one of the robes from only 6 blue crystals... might that have been yours mate ??

Just wondering, each robe takes on average 50-60 crystals so we are talking about 800-900 blue crystals in total...
It takes quite a while just to get 1 crystal in between getting the essences and the red souls, multiply that by 800-900 and it becomes how much time ???
Its multiplayer game. One person turn crystals, all his friends collecting crystals.
Yea the most I used to cure was 51 and that was in fel. The trammel ones are only taking like 42-46 most of the time. In the morning near the server up I can farm 7-8 crystals on one monster form. I get enought corpoal for 3-4 monster forms at a time. I dont know how many robes I got but I have 26 costumes and only 4 of those was shadow wyrm and dream wraith.

4 robes 50 crystals for 2, 46 for one, 39 for the other one. Might do one more but still debating if I should save the crystals for further use as stated in the last FOF.

My first attempt was the orc bomber, my second was the ice fiend. I have a whole pile of blue crystals left, not enough for another robe, but I'm done. I hate grinding for anything let alone a holiday gift. I read about these horror stories.....So I turned around and collected 90. Took me forever (real life happens)......went to anhole, turned in 48 and got the crummy robe.......sold off the balance of crystals, and can now resume my regular programing.

I got one robe and am happy with that. Got too bored easily to bother running around for more. Much prefer to spread my time on the many other areas of the game thanks.
