Macing?

So I am training my char (I'm new) and is macing really even worth it? What templates should I go for (only have basics now) healing, anat, tac, mace, parry

I'm confused with resist now so I'm not sure for the last two skills?

macing pro's

120 scrolls for macing are everywhere and dirt cheap
special moves on most mace weapons do nasty things that are a pain in the butt to work through most work ok for mobs as well.
mace weapons hit hard so leach returns big
mace weapons are generally cheaper


macing cons
mace weapons are generally slower
not alot of people make mace weapons with there runics,macers do
when your system kicks in you can start pilling up bodys faster than you can loot

macers are just fun to run and can take down a huge pack of raptors with little effort
and make a great sammy

I agree - I have imbued a diamond mace and a black staff, and they're fun to play with and very effective as well.

very cheap to get a 120 scroll for macing in comparison to the others (can usually find 120 macing for under 600k, while fencing is usually 4 million, and swords higher than 5 million). 'use best weapon' becomes your best friend.
