Spooky Story Telling Contest-Take 2

Those of you who attended the Samhain festival in Aegis know that we ran out of time for a couple of the events. This Tuesday night, November,3rd we will hold the story telling contest. As a special treat, our competition will be combined with the one planned by Em Cernunnos. So in addition to the prize given out by the Rest, there will be a special honor given by Cern to the winner.

Contest begins at 9 pm EST

Rules:
Stories must be your own work.
One story per person.
Five minute time limit per tale (seriously).
Stories and language is PG-13.
Stories will be judged on their quality, presentation, and scariness.
Participants may submit their tales in written form to be added to the Reward Hall library.

Cider and cakes or cookies will be served. The event will take place in the Beautifully Decorated Dungeon of the Ghost's Rest Tavern. (Knight's Rest.) Located in the Village of Aegis. First clearing south of the Yew Trammel Moongate.

I cannot believe I missed the time. About 9 pm est we start.

First off I want to thank Aedon Durreah and EM Cernunnos for a fun filled evening. The Knights.. umm.. Ghost's Rest Tavern set the perfect scary mood for the tales of horror shared by all. It was nice seeing all of you that came out to join us and take part in this special night of stories.

Second its great to see that Catskills long tradition of role playing is still going strong and the EMs are willing to support it. (I loved the Aegis Glade Sign outside the Tavern. Reminded of the old days when player organized communities were rewarded for their efforts to make the game better.) I still remember when Catskills was known as the shard you went to if you wanted to Role Play. I would love to see us get that reputation again. So keep up the good work!

I also want to thank all the brave souls who dared tell a tale, and congratulate Anne Nomilly who had the best tale of the evening.

Aedon, I'd like to thank you once again for being such a gracious host last nite. It really was a lot of fun. Of course, I kind of kept waiting for the EM to start leaking orange ooze but, thankfully, that never happened!
