Does anyone know if they are actually going to fix this? It's getting pretty dificult to find places where most of the sparkles aren't stuck.
I have a feeling they aren't. The bad thing is that those are the same areas monsters can spawn. Look at all the dungeons for this problem. Shame Level 1 (earthies) and Level 2 (dull copper elementals) and especially anything on open ground in Ter Mur (the void creatures).
It's interesting that GM's will sometimes move harder monsters to accessable areas if you page (i.e. renowneds in the Abyss) but if you ask them to move the sparkles, they say submit it as a bug....
This has been a known issue for a very LONG time.
EDIT:
I got thinking about this, and a "quick fix" for the inaccessable sprinkle issue. Obviously they don't have timers on them like many monsters do. So the "quick fix" for the issue would be to put a timer on them of say 60 minutes (but then again, those that are accessable probably dont last more than 7-10 minutes before they are "collected" so 60 may be too long). This way, if they are not "collected" they disappear, and the spawn continues.
Since this has been an issue for some years, and the fact that I don't pay to beta test or be bug submitter past the point of "Hey, Level 1 Despise, 12-14 sprinkles are in accessable areas and thus none are respawning", I think a inaccessable monster "report" should be added to the help menu. If you find a monster that is inaccessable, simply use the help menu, with an option of inaccessable monster, and then a target cursor.
After that, UO/EA can compile a report of coordinates that are most submitted per shard, or across all shards, and address the issue.
That is... if they want to address the issue. To me, that is the real question.
DOUBLE EDIT:
Using the "in-game help" menu would also benefit those on the LA shard in reference to the "Dsfdsf" or whatever they are called houses that were placed years ago when the shard first opened, and today still exist, sometimes taking up valuable space where a castle could be placed. Again, as above, using the help menu, "Report DSFDSF (or whatever their names are) House", target the house sign, and then viola! Sent! After say a month, have a Dev or GM go to each location and demolish the house.
