Patch Error!

The client just was trying to download a file
notes/english/readme.xml
and then runs into an error:

Patch error!
The patch client encountered corruption in the file [notes/unpacked/9bcb753d9573623d] on the remote server. Please try the patch operation again.

Retries fail.
Help!?

[Edit: I deleted the readme.xml on my computer which solved the problem.]

How does one go about doing that? removing that file and why should i have to? i dont pay them so i have to fix there problems myself...

No, I assume my local file got somehow damaged, and the patching tool was not able to replace it. The error message is somewhat misleading.

Would be interesting to compare our readme.xml with others.

i got also the message the first time i tried to patch, i tried again and it worked.

This the reason I stick with 2D and not SA. Keep trying hawkeye. I got that message and it took 9 tries before it patched correctly.

I hope you're not referring to that little readme file that was deleted and fixed the problem.
