3:00AM Deal With The Devil

Now FoA is not really the devil but, many can view the deal was like making
one with the devil. Late night an icq sounded from Promathia Gm of FoA
inviting (Trammies) to come to a Free Harrower. Keep what you get. Some
may view this as a.... hmm trap? while others don't but, view it as a risk.
With any felucca deals you always run that risk of insta death at the end.
FoA however kept to their word and even thanked us for coming out. We
graciously thanked them as well for the invite and hope to come out once again.

Minor battles with 2.0 went on but nothing worth reporting. FoA had this
Harrower up 4 hours prior to the tram side coming in. During the final Harrower
I asked Schism how he felt about 2.0 being here. He had this to say.

"No biggie, they haven't shown anything worth while yet.
I usually see their hindsides as they run away."

At the end the gold was collected along with scrolls. Leaving the Harrower
was Gowron of [RBG] and Lord Gareth of [OkuB] tightly gripping a +25 stat
scroll. FoA representatives also commented at the end the idea of doing this
more often. A public Harrower. Now yes they will no doubt make profit from
the protection scrolls BUT you still get to keep what you earn. Keep your
eyes and ears open for more information as we get it in.

Icq'd Many members of MOB who were online....all refused to fight.

I do admit, sadly its embarassing, but some 2.0 DID kill some of us coming out of Shame.

They dropped 3 of our tamers coming out, Schism , ramrod, me with no supplies. Then they dropped E-Mortal, Seeker and Tom. A little embarassing yes....Wish our schism ramrod and my tamer had been supplied...Would have been nice to have had aids to heal with

Goodjob on those guys for atleast coming to fight (MOB?? Did UHOH even log on tonight?).

Yes sir, well after it was dead. But better late then never by 2.0...atleast they had the courage to try and they did good =]

Only UHOH I have on q is you...lol I was too busy practially begging MOB to raid... Instead they stayed in Yew...behind the yew bank...in traps..and guards...and fields...just sitting...waiting for someone I guess *shrugs*

Well, I thought it was a great idea and I had fun. Too bad my supplies had been depleted by healing the dragons and couldn't heal when Rofocale droppped me (love ya Nate).
Next time 2.0 needs to man up and come in where the fighting is instead of waiting at the door.

This is the thing the PvP community needs to do if it expects to grow in numbers. You have to admit it the PvP folks and especially the guilds that live for the raid aren't very well looked on by the typical "Trammie". Doing things like this promotes community interaction, it also shows off what PvPer's can do and the rush of a fight in a positive way.

You might not have gotten raided this time, but there is always next time and the time after that...I'm all for you guys doing these once in a while.
