Level 1 spawns of every other mini champ spawn drop whatever imbuing loot is appropriate to said spawn; why do the clockwork scorpions/plague rats/wolves not do so too? It clearly has nothing to do with difficulty -- I can farm essence of achievement off of greater mongbats, and those are easier than any of the CoD level 1 spawn creatures.

Please fix this, devs. CoD-spawned imbuing reagents are the major bottleneck right now for imbuing, and given that the renowneds take like 15 minutes to kill and give crap for loot, and on top of that, are frequently lured off into far corners of the abyss, thus causing the spawn to stall out, this small change would make a world of difference for that area (and for imbuing).

They aren't level one spawn, they are just stuff that is in the area. You can lure the rats and wolves (and scorps but who would bother) away and it makes no difference for getting the spawn to advance and cycle. Putting essences on them would create a thing where people would farm up to the renowned, lure it away, then just farm the little guys over and over for easy essences.

Pretty sure that they are intended to be level 1 spawn, but that there is something broken in how they respawn. Take, for instance, the essence of achievement spawn I referenced above. Level 1: Mongbats/Imps. Level 2: Daemons. Level 3: Pit Fiends. Level 4: Boss. Or, for instance, the goblin spawn. Level 1: Enslaved Goblins. Level 2: Goblin Scouts/Keepers. Level 3: Alchemists/Mages. Level 4: Bosses. Now compare that to the plague rat spawn...Level 1: Plague Rats. Level 2: Supplicants. Level 3: Courtiers. Level 4: Boss.

Point is, to the best of my knowledge, every mini-champ spawn has 3 levels and then the boss...if you don't count the rats/scorpions/wolves, it would be the odd-spawn-out in that respect, and I don't think that was the intention. And as the level 1 spawn, they need loot commensurate with other level 1 spawn. I'm fine with making it so that the rats/etc. don't spawn while the renowned is out, so long as the renowned gets tethered to the area and gets its HPs reduced to a reasonable level (those ratman bosses aren't hard...they're just tedious and take forever).

I dont see what everyones issue is with CoD resources, the wolves give the eyes for rpd, the first tier of the ratmen are 2 hit kills and give me prolly an abyssal cloth/crystalline blackrock about every 3-5 kills. the luring off of the renowneds can be annoying but luckily it hasnt affected me cuz i usually find them. the rats and scorps are a constant static spawn they shouldnt give anything high end, they are there to annoy us while fighting hehe

I spent 2 hours looking for the renowned for that spawn one day..... never did find it. Gave up.
