[price check] what does a placed house go for these days

Gotta love UO, spend more time reading posts then reading the newspaper, but we cant seem to figure it out. We have a 18x14 spot on the edge of Compassion, great training spawn...etc, especially for archers/fletchers. Kinda need a larger more remote spot. What can we realistically ask for it and what are we looking at to upgrade to a keep/castle. House is worth 550k as is.

The price depends on many factors. Typically, folks want a house that a) is spawn-free and b) has nothing blocking the front yard.

If your current location is spawn-free, clear front, you can probably ask for around 10 to 15 mil.

For an 18x18 or large tower with the same qualities, you'll be looking to pay 20 to 30 mil.

For a keep, a few hundred mil. For a castle, several hundred mil.

The cheapest castles I've seen have been on Fel Ice Island...because...bleh. If you're on a tight budget, you might run around there for a bit and check for "for sale" signs.
