Lucky coins???

Since they ajusted the Puzzle room to give you lucky coins and not the 3 points SoTs, and you also get the coins off kills in the underworld, why is you can't do the fountain of life more then once a day? I got like 12 coins and it says I have to return in a day to drop one coin? What gives??

I have to chime in here with a related inquiry. The UO Japan website lists a pair of sandals "Soles Of Providence" as a possible reward from the fountain. I have tossed MANY coins (once per day per char per account) and gotten many fragments and Gemologist's Satchels, but never once these mythical sandals. Can someone from the dev team please confirm or deny that these are obtainable?

Well if you have more than one account spread your coins out and you can use them up in 6 days or fewer, less time than it takes to grow a plant.

ANy monster can drop it in Underworld. But you have better chance with the puzzle box in the corridor with the traps.

ya that a good question. If there was a chance of getting something good then I might try the room more.

I quit doing the puzzle room, no need for any more pillows, totems etc.. The SoT were the best items the puzzle room had to give. And I cannot do the other three puzzles as I am not quick enough in the exp. room, just to old to teleport as quick as you have to. The younger folks are good at this but we old people need a lot of help in that room, like more time to see and register that there is a change in colors and jump there.

Im not from the dev team but i can 100% comfirm these sandals exist as i got a pair from the fountain this evening.
It was about my 5th coin/day.
The sandals are europa gold in color + 80 luck
