Playing UO again. I went to my old shard GL and it seems dead. Is this the busy shard or is there one. Is there no hope in my quest for the old days of playing. I did the 3d's , wow, lotr, stg, etc. They missed something that UO had, maybe it was the housing (lotr housing sucks bad as well as no pvp).
It's strange but why is it that a game had such an impact on my memory. I can remember mining at minoc, frog hopping the ore. Hanging around the Brit bank (even the East one was busy), running into so many people while out shopping, as well as people inside crafting, those were the days (I think I'm getting teary eyed). I remember one of the first times I got ganked at minoc by a Pk using a moongate, he popped out and whammo, then he sat on a log and tried on my favorite straw hat, leaving me my runes and enough regs to recall. The there was when Mr T came to my house, that was cool, a celebrity and all. The evenings of summoning Els to fight for gains. Ok, enough.
It will never be the same, I guess I'll get on a few times and then throw away all my passwords and usernames. I've had it.
Nope cant do that![Sad 2 :sad2: :sad2:](/data/images/smilies/sad-016.gif)
