dreadhorn keys?

so im trying to key dreadhorn to try on my samp, but when i kill the mobs that are supposed to drop the keys they dont.

killed the wolf 3 times and the spider twice, pixie once and no keys, i dont understand.

They don't drop them 100% of the time. I recently went through about 20 of each spider just to get both of their keys. Sometimes you get lucky and the key is on the first one of each. Just be patient and they will drop.

It can take quite some time to get the keys from each creature. That's the reason that I prefer Travesty vs DH. Of course that's a whole different ballgame that you're not quite ready for yet. Keep at it with DH and once you've got that one down you can graduate to some of the tougher ones.

Wow! Ego check. Of course The Peerless Mobs are viewed differently by some for difficulty. I view the DH Mobs as difficult (especially if you are soloing) as the Prizm Mobs. Virtually any new player can do the Travesty Mobs with little difficulty and Paroximous is about the same in difficulty. I would suggest to the poster to begin with Parox although he/she seems to be doing quite well if they are working the DH spawn for keys.

To the poster try working one aspect of the Mob until you get the key then move to the next victim.

ahh ok i thought they were 100% drops hehe.

really the only difficulty ive run in to in TW is the changeling boss, its not so bad most of the time but once in a while she will chain spam mana drain.

with no mana once consecrate weapon goes down i only do like 8 dmg a shot which obviously isnt enough to keep leech up.

is there any way to counter being mana drained like that?

And yeah, use a 100% elemental damage weapon. Like a Soul Seeker.

i have the perfect weapon for the job too, one i found on some random vendor in the middle of nowhere.

ive been using it for farming daemons so i dont have to use cons and can literally just stand there and loot while they walk into my spear.

its a short spear thats 100% poison with 40DI 36 HML 30 HSL 30HLD, got it for 5k.

love those random vendors hehe.

edit: there is one other thing i had been wondering. once you key for DH and get onto the island what happens if he kills you? can you get back onto the island to try again or do you have to rekey?

Take a Gem of Salvation, and work up sacrifice. I *think* you can re-key, but never tried it personally.

You get 3 master keys after you drop the looted keys. You can leave and re-enter with the remaining 2 keys as long as it's within that 10 minute timespan.
