For many years GRI/DB4 had common Members/Emmys... I believe we still do.
Doubtful considering DB4 does not really exist anymore.
GRI invited everyone in the shard to spawn... that was our goal... free spawning. Making the hold, some members of DB4 thought they had on the economy, an illusion...
We had people joining us with the simple goal of experiencing Felucca... many ended up joining DB4...
Which members would those be? I am not sure exactly what it is you are saying here, but it almost sounds like an admission of sorts...
We had members from almost every guild out there to join our guild for a spawning night... then going back to their guilds... then returning to fight or spawn...
And we defended you time in and time out on nights like that.
For years we managed to have a window open into spawning without drama or backstabbing... folk would simply spawn and be left alone...
Indeed you did, for quite a number of years, due in no small part to our help. Funny how once we were no longer needed we were discarded like stale candy...just like we were by CDE and LER/RKOS, and other guilds from the old alliances once SX was gone. Funny part is that old drama was pretty much what led to us becoming a raiding guild, which of course led to our relationship with you being so controversial. Now things have 'come full circle' as you might say. =)
We helped until the Ice Island Castle/Keep idocs (posted here by Lava)... and then we withdrew to Trammel, never to help DB4 again... except by personal choice but never as an entity.
Whats this now? You are talking about that time a couple of DB4 placed houses on ICE that a GRI guy who did IDOCs every day was also at and got mad when he didn't get a castle? This incident (which was 3-4 years ago and only involved a few individuals who were not even active anymore) is why you broke off our friendship and chose to side with |337 last year?
GRI made sure everyone was welcomed, safe... and we paid the price. Our reputation was hurt due to DB4 actions... but it was a small price considering it allowed anyone to go to Felucca to spawn... and if a red DB4 would show up... the GRI tag would be a invisible shield...
This part I somewhat agree with. GRI did take a lot of Flak over the years due to their relationship with DB4, which many viewed controversially. Something tells me you also gained plenty from that relationship though, and it is not as if I did not bend over backwards to keep things friendly. Any time we had a problem I did my best to deal with it, even going so far as having kicked people from DB4 who were mistreating GRI or other alliance members. We also of course shared many guild members, and some of DB4's pvpers had at times even put char's in GRI to help teach your members and form PVP wings.
Also don't forget, the problems that did take place in the alliance came from both ends. Your recruitment policies which were somewhat lax in the security department led to more than a few problems such as people tagged GRI bank killing and spying and the like...among other issues.
Too bad things went on a direction that clashed with the nature of our alliance... making me leave many old friends behind, fighting most of them after they moved to nme...
I was being attacked in yew by GRI members on their uss* characters long before I put any characters in NME, within weeks of the DB4 split in fact.
But the goal is still the same... an open path for everyone that wants to spawn.
And now we are reaching for your Holy Grail... the harrower... and things will get really messy next Thursday.
No offense but your politics are getting old, and I think very few people care about this nonsense anymore.
