Can you get 40 swing speed on a melee wepeon with imbuing?

You can imbue up to 30ssi onto a weapoin.

You can imbue 30 ssi onto wood weapons and enhance it to 40ssi with Ash wood.

only 30 with imbue skill, if its wooden you can then enhance to get it to 40. run risk of breakin it.

It's actually ridiculous that metal weapons get no benefit at all from enhancing, except durability or 40 luck. Split weapon damage? BUJAA (or not...)

The benefit is that you can imbue whatever weapon property you want on the blade, and thus tailor it to your specific needs and preferences, without having to burn a couple of runic hammers and hoping for a random success.

It's not even close to a benefit when the weapons and stuff your going up against is in the 600 to 700 range.imbue is suppose to be the great equalizer,if so ; well then raise the max weight to 600 and get ride of the no special materials imbued and it would be closer as it stands now it's lip service and little else

When crafting with runics you can receive additional properties from the material used. But do not forget you can enhance imbued items and get these material bonus too. Of course you take the risk to break them, but if you craft several you will for sure succeed in some enhancings.

Have you seen some of the things you can do with imbuing? I can't believe people are asking for it to be stronger.

It is fine as it is.

People that invest time and money to get a valorite hammer SHOULD get better weapons than you can get by spending 10 minutes imbuing a weapon.

while I agree with you about the val hammer lets not forget the millions spent getting imbuing to 120 and I mean millions it is by far the best gold sink in the game ! and just to add the weapons you make with a val hammer can last forever... imbued weapons cannot (well i guess they could if you dont use them!)

Imbuing isn't that expensive, sure it's the most expensive mule skill yet but still its chump change.

not for the casual player its not chump change ! I have played along time but consider myself casual player I only had about 3.5 mill in bank and am broke now!

but I was not disagreeing about the val hammer with the time and effort it takes to get them I do believe there should be a little more control over what you get!

Friend of mine said he got and 120ed it for about 1.5m. So you sir have royally messed up somewhere.

And a casual player can easily earn millions. Its honestly nothard. I play a couple hours a day maybe. Spend half of my time PvPing and still manage to make 250k-500k a day doing trammel activities.

As an imbuer i can tell you it does not need to be increased. I Have made weopons for people that i could only imagin getting before the skill. My set of jewles are godly and when i repair them when there about half damage most the time i dont even lose durability. so i will have these jewels for at least a year or two. My buddy has a war axe that is better then any imbued weopon because its from a val hammer. it should stay that way.

Yeah I used couple millions training imbuing... But one valorite hammer costs 20 millions which is far more then I used to get 120 imbuing trained.
