It's a bunch of bullcrap. We are supposed to be allies or something, we are in the same faction. Killing factions members enough times should get you booted from the faction or something.
What are you a caveman? One word answers is all you can give?
Well, it may be ridiculous, but it is just part of the game. Take comfort that your own faction members cannot put you in stat loss directly, else it could be much worse.I just noticed too. I got put into stat for it. That is ridiculous.
There is indeed a problem in the actual faction design. In the past, people joined faction for different purposes, but mainly for the blessed stuff and the PvP.i agree yo considering i just got killed by a fellow TB member and its stupid that he doesnt get some kind of penalty
So your in COM yeah?yes i think some faction players do need to be educated somehow
some bellends from 2.0 guild explained to me after faction killing me that we are enemies, but when we invite them to protect us at a champ we are friends
the explaination was this, because there is not much pvp in europa they try to get what they can, even if we are faction allies
sadly others, better 2.0 players have no influence over the said bellends
so yes lets have a massive gold fine for faction killing your own
Was this in fel? It's a bunch of bullcrap. We are supposed to be allies or something, we are in the same faction. Killing factions members enough times should get you booted from the faction or something.
I play in FEW and I'v noticed that since we have a policy of not attacking own faction but helping them, many "random" players have joined TB. I wish other factions would do the same, would make getting into PvP and factions easier...yes i think some faction players do need to be educated somehow

nope not GOD, tbh not had any dealing with them either, however, i am not the leader of my guild so i do not wish to add more tenstion between the guilds, just wanted to highlight that 2.0 have issues and hopefully the leader will sort this out and stop the nonsense, sadly i have been told that all is not well in 2.0, and the fact they are killing faction allies proves this but yes CoMSo your in COM yeah?
What guild are you actually in? Not God surely?
There is. Murder counts. It's a bunch of bullcrap. We are supposed to be allies or something, we are in the same faction. Killing factions members enough times should get you booted from the faction or something.

It is up until a point. If there are no enemy factions about and your not guilded, why not have at it while there is no other action taking place.agreed, faction teamkilling is ********.

I've been ganked more often by greens than by oranges, it seems. It's a bunch of bullcrap. We are supposed to be allies or something, we are in the same faction. Killing factions members enough times should get you booted from the faction or something.

It rings particularly true in one-sided faction settings like Sonoma's current state, where COM owns everything and outnumbers everyone. It's a hopeless fight, so the other rabble factions turn on their own....
nope, no issue just confused, i have a very, very good friend in 2.0 and sadly i have been told that there is no control over others if they wish to attack you, then they should be insta kicked, if you want to be a red great, but you are also in a faction, if you want to kill everything that moves then you should not be in a faction, i know my red respects the faction titlelol clearly your the one with an issue, i'm in 2.0 and i can tell you there is nothing wrong within 2.0. I don't know which player you had an issue with but as most of our players are red am not sure what the issue is. A red is a red even if in factions. Its kinda like expecting there to be no crime between people of the same nationality![]()
Fallout, any chance this happened on Siege or Mugen? And did your character do the killing or was it the character that ended up dead?I just noticed too. I got put into stat for it. That is ridiculous.
Please read the other thread about what was happening on Siege before going too far into the issue of why you can't use your pets to kill faction mates. There WAS a big and serious issue there that needed to be resolved. People were redlining themselves and then attacking a faction mate and being killed by said faction mate when he auto-defended (via weapon or pet, I'm not sure it mattered). If they would let tamers in same faction use pets against other members of the faction then I would be fine with just sucking it up. I have had people join my faction precisely to gank me personally without my cute and cuddily pets being able to assist me. I say if you are in the same faction then it should be as if you was in trammel. Not even allow to target them. They do it for tamer pets so why not everyone else in same faction.
Let tamer pets attack same faction peeps and that will satisfy me.
Well Siege should never have even adapted alot of the stuff that the normal servers were given. It was meant to be a place were people who did not want a trammel facet could move to and rely on community based solutions with the loosely set rules that it follows. The other servers should never have gotten the same bandaid fixes that Siege did. Please read the other thread about what was happening on Siege before going too far into the issue of why you can't use your pets to kill faction mates. Siege/Mugen have a unique rule that causes the killer in that situation to lose KILL POINTS. If someone griefed them long enough through use of the auto-defend mechanism, the person being griefed could end up with no kill points in a hurry.
The situation had to be addressed.
I kind of wonder if the developers considered implementing the same Siege/Mugen Evil/Hero rule about losing kill points if you kill a faction mate on the rest of the shards as well, but either just didn't get around to it or wanted to see how big of a problem it actually developed into on the other shards if factions saw a comeback.
So, how big of a problem has it become on the other shards, with faction mates killing each other? Is it keeping some people out of factions? Have you sent in feedback? How would you change things to deal with the situation and not in turn create more potential for griefing? What do you think causes the situation to occur in the first place--some people just like to be jerks and/or some people are so deadset on dominating a shard that they put powerful alts in competing factions for griefing and demoralizing their enemies?
Looks like Europa.....?I have some concerns that there is an imposter guild using my tag of 2.0 on shards that I do not play on.
What shard is this Jack Flash guy crying about?
This not always the case. I only read the first post. But no.It's a bunch of bullcrap. We are supposed to be allies or something, we are in the same faction. Killing factions members enough times should get you booted from the faction or something.
Don't worry, he's not on that barely populated shard that you transferred to so you can beat your chest story telling uninterrupted.I have some concerns that there is an imposter guild using my tag of 2.0 on shards that I do not play on.

You're so cute when your inferior (always).Don't worry, he's not on that barely populated shard that you transferred to so you can beat your chest story telling uninterrupted.
Actually if someone wants to be a sociopathic outcast they shouldn't join a faction. A faction IS a team, I mean especially TB. There should be a penalty for killing fellow members. You logic is idiotic.Just because you are in the same faction together doesn't mean they are your new BFF's. If you want to cuddle together with your fellow faction members, make them an ally through he guild system.
thanks for your really valuable input, i have been talking to some peeps from 2.0 dont need you. not crying, please read again, maybe finish post before adding smart ass comments. if you have problems with the long words then maybe a grown up in your house can help, hope soI have some concerns that there is an imposter guild using my tag of 2.0 on shards that I do not play on.

There are so many opportunities to insult you in here that I don't even know what to do with myself. If I say more I'll get in trouble with the boss lady.thanks for your really valuable input, i have been talking to some peeps from 2.0 dont need you. not crying, please read again, maybe finish post before adding smart ass comments. if you have problems with the long words then maybe a grown up in your house can help, hope so
and if you have a char in 2.0 and do not kill faction allies then what does it have to do with you anyway? oh wait you are a game dev.....
lastly, if you were of any importance, and was playing the same shard as me, you would know me
so please run along now, grown ups talk here![]()
Good idea, lets get back to the point of the threadHmmm, I'm surprised not a single person has mentioned this....
Make it so dev gods:
kill a fellow faction member and all your points are forfeit to them. (this of course would mean that they would have to update faction points more often)
in an instance where your faction points are forfeit in such a manner, you can't get any more for an 8 hour in game time period. (the same period of time taken to work off a short term count).
Seems to be the most simple way to thwart people from "team killing" yet not completely banish it.
Anyone have a better solution?
if you had a fair grasp of the English language, you would feel really dumb right now. But as it seems you do not, you may continue in your ignorance.thanks for your really valuable input, i have been talking to some peeps from 2.0 dont need you. not crying, please read again, maybe finish post before adding smart ass comments. if you have problems with the long words then maybe a grown up in your house can help, hope so

If there were an infinite number of factions to choose from I'd agree with you. Since there are only 4 this means a guild/player (if they want to be in factions) is forced to choose the lesser of the evils. Just because they are in a faction that you also happen to be in, it doesn't mean you are instant allies, hence why they are still allowed to attack you.Actually if someone wants to be a sociopathic outcast they shouldn't join a faction. and to you of course, best also wait till your a big girl to play adult gamesThere are so many opportunities to insult you in here that I don't even know what to do with myself. If I say more I'll get in trouble with the boss lady.
Best of luck to you in your game endeavors.
