Okay , I've posted this a while back.. I'm once again Xfering a character around and I'm trying to find a good West Coast shard other than Pacific to reside... I have a few questions..

1. What are the main guilds in Fel ?

2. 1-10 how active is the PvP ?

3. How is the market ?

I love Origin, dont get me wrong, but the lack of pvp is why my guildies and I xferd to Pacific for PvP.. Origin is home for me regardless, I love the people and our EMs are the best in the game, not to mention our shard reporter Sara, buuuuut on the pvp side we lack big time!

I dont think there are any main guilds left in Fel on Origin
Maybe DUEL, but thats a guild of 2 ppl maybe 3.
See the FME? boyz on Origin sometimes under the tag RENT.
you might see the occasional BYU and F3AR, which is DOGZ on Pac. (damn stalkers j/k)

Scale of 1 to 10.. PvP is a -1 anymore

Market would depend on what you are looking for, but you wont find half the stuff you would find on Pac or Atl, however, what you do find will be cheaper on Origin than either of those two.

Bad idea... I have been on this shard for a few weeks now and can tell you a few things about it.

1) One it is dying or dead.. depending on how you look at it.

2) Luna is filled with ghost vendors (closed, not stocked in months, houses with no vendors). ** Before those that do keep up with vendors start complaining... that doesn't include the few/proud that actually maintain their vendors. But you cannot deny the facts stated. **

Added Note: When I asked for a vendor spot I was denied. By several and then finally told that if I wasn't in a guild I probably would not get a vendor in Luna. So now I look to buy one of the houses forsale. Except getting in touch with the owners has also proven to be a challenge. **

3) As stated above... pvp is basically gone. I can run around for an hour without seeing a single person without any problems.

4) Unless you intend on spending much of your time exploring alone I would suggest finding a different home. I myself like solo missions... so for now I will continue to stick it out here in the barren wastelands.

Origin is not for everybody. I too complained about the vendor situation when I first came here. I now realize that this is not your "run to the store every time you need something place". I personally like that and would find it difficult to return to a fast moving and elbow to elbow shard. If I get bored here I play characters that are established in Atl and europa. I like to solo and Origin is great for that. And last like Morgaine said we have the best EM's, News reporter and Moderator. I'm here to stay.

Yup. I offered him a spot. I haven't heard from him on ICQ or seen him in game (don't know his characters so hard to say that's a positive) to be able to give him whatever he needs.

Ok so is the tb the largest faction on Origin and what about the "R" guild? Isn't that a pvp guild here?

I guess TB is the largest faction on Origin now. SL, which is where my guild is, hasnt really been playing on Origin much. We dropped the "R" tag about a month or so ago.. under the tag -KD- now. Sadly, with just a few small guilds on shard almost all in TB faction.. we decided to go to Pacific just about full time for pvp.

I appreciated the offer Cassie but I saw that all the vendors at the house were empty and didn't want to place mine with them. Nothing against you.. they probably aren't even your vendors (renters maybe?)? Anyway...problem solved as I am now placed directly across from you. Maybe you have seen the new vendors... there is much to sell. If someone needs something specific.. please let me know and I will do my best.

Sadly, they empty out faster than I can restock them most of the time. I ended up pulling stuff from one vendor to use myself >.>

But yeah, when I put stuff on there and while I'm stocking and someone comes through, I can watch my stock vanish. Which is nice, but is hard to maintain when I work 8+ hours a day heh.

Sometimes I think it would be nice to be able to stay home and play as much as I wanted. Then I think a little more and realize... if I didn't go to work and stay home to play UO all day and night I would probably be one smelly obese man... lol

This last weekend I set aside a few hours to do UO stuff, like Xshard trading, stocking vendors and to play.

I spent those hours trading and stocking and got nothing else done in UO. LOL

Everytime I plan to stock vendors then do osmething else, the something else never happens....but I do enjoy the vendors...just so time consuming

Thank you very much for the info , that pretty much sums all my questions up. I've heard a lot of negative things about Origin and just wanted some player based opinions. On that note , I am not xfering to Origin as of now.
Though if it does get better and things become active , please message me and tell me to get my pixelated ass over here!
