#5 - NEVER PROMPT FOR SHARD. Yes of course I know several of us play multiple shards, and even if we don't, we occasionally do holiday trading. But that's why there would be a toggle. I only play one shard. It's not a huge deal, of course, we're only talking one click here, but still...

#4 - NEVER SHOW AN EMPTY VENDOR. "Vendor Look." Well if you have an empty pack, don't bother with the gump I'm gonna close anyway.

#3 - NEVER ATTACK GUILDMATES. Ahhh, as always, I am plinking away at an Abysmal Horror when my good buddy's greater dragon slips under my targeting cursor at the last second, and then starts to BBQ my ass immediately as the Horror machineguns flame strikes. How fun.

Don't get me wrong, attacking guildmates is a neat option for us to hone our combat skills and have some exciting events, but when I am working with my guildies as a team, I NEVER want to attack them, much less have their overpowered pet immediately set on me because of a bad click.

#2 - NEVER RESTART RE-BANDAGING. Nothing is more annoying than having your bandie counter reset right when you really need that heal, just because you fat-fingered the macro. Switching targets is understandable, but I have never seen why we even have the option to restart bandaging the same target. That's just silly, and always seemed like a bug.

#1 - NEVER DISMOUNT DURING COMBAT. This is annoying as @#$%, and I cannot conceive of ANY situation where dismounting yourself in the heat of combat would be advantageous. I've been asking for this for years.

As well, Never give "Don't auto-renew insurance" as an option.

Insurance should be auto-renewed. Period.

I have a better idea: you can resurrect only after 13 minutes from death :O
in this case you have only 2 minutes for recover the body and if you fail your character will be deleted :O

Just a joke :D

Good list. I know it's not a "never", but can I add "Press enter to talk" on there?

I understand why you ask for this, and it used to be this way in the original client; your login and password were saved. But it led to accounts being stolen (not sure how) so was removed for security.

I've found that if you know you will need to login fast, you can opne notepad or word, type in your password, copy and just paste into the login screen. As long as you don't do another copy, it is available for a fast login.

Sometimes you realize you want to start runing the bandages again, so u get a 6 second instead of a 4 or whatever, for timing purposes.

i dismount myself all the time in pvp, either to dismount someone else or avoid being dismounted by them..

well, see, the beauty of a toggle like these would be to give the option to people who'd prefer it'd work differently. For those that don't care for it would be free to not toggle the switch, thus making both sides happy, theoretically...

I'd rather have a NEVER EVER PATHFIND that works......

And something to make it so I NEVER EVER follow my cursor... EVER...

As for the other things. A few times a year when we get rewards I actually log into other shards to get the rewards... sometimes do Xshard trading of reward items.

The rest of the time I log into only one shard.

These are available through UOAssist, although I think it's lazy that the toggle isn't on the client too.

That was because they stored the password in the config file. So all someone had to do who had access to your machine (ie bittorrent or napster) would be to enter the path to the file and pick through it.

Another reason I don't use such things, security means being vigilent.

that says it all doesn't it? nobody can just be content with their own gifts, they have to go to other shards and be greedy.

If I have characters on a shard, they are my own gifts.
If I have 3 toons on EVERY shard all same names, and holiday gifts come, they are all my gifts.
By logging in to a toon i dont use often and get a gift, does that keep you or anyone from getting theirs? no

I knew the login name/PW were stored in the config file in 2D, now it's just the login name. The EC client stores the login name in a XML file, so it would still be vulnerable. I didn't know about bittorrent or napster, since I don't use those - too may hacks in the past.

With the switch on all empty bags without a price should be invisible. And also the entire vendor if theres nothing with a resale price in it.

exept for the empty vendor one, which is a great idea ,the rest are all signs of not knowing how to play and wanting somebody else to fix that instead of learning the game skills needed so, a big fat no for most of the list

If you use the enhanced client some of these issues, such as attacking friendlies and dismounting yourself in combat are probably not issues.

I would like some option on the bandie counter too. However the enhanced client does provide a countdown for you if you've created a hotbar with your bandies in it. Along with the message telling you that you've finished healing it's kinda hard to justify a program change for this.

What I'd REALLY like for bandies is a more distinctive sound when they are done. That "shuffle" sound gets buried during combat. Some variation on the distinctive "magical heal sound" would be cool. A lot of time when I'm playing I rely on my ears just at much as my eyes to keep up with what is going on.

But, I definetly agree with the vendor pack idea. Either that, or ever time we open the pack of some vendor that is not stocked, we get 50gp from the vendor gold account for the effort and that continues against that vendor until it goes broke and falls. (heh heh)

#5 - I can see the merit in this, but I honestly don't see the point. You can click just as fast to reach your shard as it would take for the server to react.

#4 - Most "empty" vendors tend to have a book in them as well which means it's not entirely empty. Dealing with empty vendors only requires a single right click on the bag.

#3 - This would be nice, however there are some instances when fighting where attacking a guildmate would be beneficial. For example, if your guildmate does not have resist and a trapped box and they become paralyzed, you can potentially hit them one so they may run away.

#2 - Buy UOA

#1 - I know plenty of instances where dismounting yourself while in combat would be beneficial.

True. Still annoying, hence the request. I see a LOT of completely empty packs and I don't see why this suggestion, which will save a lot of irritating gump closing, is not valid by your logic.

A good point. However, I don't really keep that close of track of everyone else when the ol' fit hits the shan.

#2 - Buy UOA
Used it for years with 2d, up to a few weeks ago. It restarts the bandage.

Examples? How about just one?
