uhm k somehow i missed this bug?????

I guess theres a bug with gargish dressers????? How did I miss this?????
I placed a bunch of high end items in there last night and this morning I log in and everything is gone from the chest???? What the ****!?
Lost probably 20mil+ in armor, jewels, ingrediants, etc......
If they are bugged, why are we still allowed to make them and use them???

Tel-mur style dresser... private house.. doesnt give security options though when placed, but since its a new house, no one had been accessed yet. It was placed with the house owner char. Dresser is still there, but everything inside vanished

I havent had any issues with the gargish chest, just the dresser =/ .. a guildie told me that they have been bugged since beta. Wish I knew before I used it

aye i noticed that it had no security but you can secure both sides of the dresser seperately useing the normal secure command. Bit late to help youi now, but it does work.

the good thing, regardless of how much everything cost, its all replaceable.. but when I locked it down, it asked what security level I wanted.. I edited that above.. still waking up and a lil miffed on why everything disappeared.

Hmm if its a two tile thing, maybe thats why? Even though its only one drawer that opens? seems a lil weird if you ask me, to have to lock down two sides.... and it should come with a warning if thats the case!

I'll replace the items as I remember everything that was in there lol right now, im only missing some runic val armor and some other crafted stuff, ingrediants for imbuing, shroud of the condemned, pendant and some tinker crafted jewels... everything of higher value was locked down on the floor lol which im glad for at this point

You can certainly set different levels of access to each 'half' of the dresser, and I share the suspicion that the items vanishing may be because they are in the half that has not been 'secured' and so are being treated as just being on the floor, and decaying... The confusion comes because if you mouse over the furniture, it tells you 'locked down and secure' for both halves, you only see the problem if you try set security on each half seperately.

In 2d, I noticed it's a two-part container, one looks like a normal furniture 'box' when opened, the other looks like a corpse, coffin shaped with the bones at the top. I do remember asking about that a while back, and I also recall some comments that it have been a 'known problem' in Beta that items were sometimes 'lost' from the dresser. Sorry to hear the problem seems to still be there after all this time

I too recall this being reported in beta... Obviously nothing was done... but then there is the whole housing issue of there never being a focus on housing in Beta ..... maybe that has something to do with it...

Sorry for your loss wish I could help you replace your things but I never play on origin...

However so you know one side works one side don't... if I remember right... personally I think they should go the way of the stone anvil and be removed...

Though I would like them fixed and returned eventually removing them would be a good idea.

i have a public house and did not get the message, then tried setting it manulay but no gump showed up found that i could secure it by saying "i wish to secure this" the test aids and food still there after 2 days

very odd just noticed there are two sides both seperate containers. runing test on the left one now as i just secured it. so that item has 2 seperate contaners in it
