I was sent an invitation to rejoin to 2D game that entirely entertained me for 4+ years until i had to leave...oh the sacrifices we endure. I bought a ps3, cranked up my PC but nothing compared to the nature of this game. I think back to the days spent cranking away for that last gain before bed..."honest honey...love youuu"..."common, just one more, lets go! 5:30am".
Now that she's mellowed and the kids are in school it's different. So I log in to one of 3 accounts and no one is there. All that for nothing OMG!..Just paid for 3 months and was totally revved. Gonna crank again, get the kids to mine and stuff, eheh.
Where the hell is everyone! Are you all scattered in small bunches on all these shards? I'm on the west coast now that UO is in the east...switch. Not too concerned with which shard I go. I'm wandering around with a newb in ghost towns on all shards. Used to be a counter on Origin's site i believe but not many sites out there now with solid info (I understand the lenght of time away and the other games that came after, "evolution" and such).

Where do us returns go to game with people after so long?

Huge cheers to all of you folks that kept this game alive...and to my online wife, a mage in white...so sorry i cant remember your name...those were the drinkin days

Luna is the new hangout now. Atlantic I hear is one of the busier
shards. With the new expansion out most people are exploring the
dungeons etc.

This is my issue with Luna,

Returning vets go to the usual places, Brit, skara Moonglow. They then believe the game dead!

Luna is going to be what drives many a returning vet away!!!

Rant over back on topic :p

Luna is the place to find people, mostly afk but they are there.

Atlantic and Great lakes are the most populated servers, I have heard atlantic has active RP, PvP, PvM and a healthy (as healthy as can be) economy for crafters.

Great Lakes is, my home shard so forgive the biased nature of this :p, Awesome...very active PvP/Factions, good group of RPer's(although not my area of expertise) and huge guilds of PvMer's.

Other shards are smaller and probably, not sure 100%, more...umm...Specialist shall we say.

Oh and some...are just plain DEAD!

I hear you. Due to the massive increas of content, landmasses and dungeons, people are more spread out on the shard, and do not cumulate in small towns anymore. Usually you will find players in Britain, New Haven and Luna. (Luna is many players' hate town.)

get the kids to mine and stuff, eheh.
Now you get me thinking... :mf_prop:
My kid loves the dragon (that I named after my son, hehe) so I can tell him he has to mine for like a year before he can get one.
Might work...
