It's all about the humping! err i mean bumping

1. only sales threads should be bumped
2. Even those shouldn't be bumped more than once in 6 hours

On the first error message hit OK, on the second window cancel, then the error message again ok. then cancel then ok then cancel then ok. There should be like 5-8 windows pop up. I assume that is the problem cause its the most recent one ive had since the patch.

why is it only sales threads can be bumped I thought his question was a valid question for folks.
And yes it still works it just doesnt update anymore so new lands dont show but still very much works.
and diablo have you just tried running as admistrator if you have vista

There is a forum for tech help use it, and quit bumping you liable to get either a concussion or severly bruised hips, most likely the concussion you're a guy you wouldn't use your hips to bump, nvm
you should enforce that i dont think there ever should be bumps and if there is it shouldnt matter to what they bump
Actually, no. Bumping is allowed on trade forums, as per the FAQ you'll find on those, but not shard forums. Since this board serves as both shard and trade board, the trade board rules apply to trade threads.

This board is full of people who have been banned at one time or another. Some have been banned for violating the ROC, many have been banned because moderators didn't like what they were saying whether it violated the ROC or not. Often, moderators didn't like what posters said because EA either told them not to like it, or implied that not removing posts and banning posters would have consequences.
It isn't so bad these days. Hardly anyone plays UO anymore and of those who do, only a small fraction still use the horribly out of date resources Stratics offers. EA isn't too worried about what happens here because Stratics doesn't really matter anymore.
Yes, I was banned. If you have a personal bless deed on Siege, you're welcome. That was my ban. I argued one too many times that it was unfair for some people on Siege to have bless deeds while others didn't have them. I argued it a lot. I argued it for years. Finally, someone got sick of it and I was banned. Thanks to me, and to others long gone from this game and this shard, you now have a PBD. Again, you're welcome.
That is my concern with the moderation on this board. Yes, it is a board consisting of one moderator for every ten posters. Yes, we really only have about 20 people who post on this board. No, I don't know why anyone would waste their life moderating a board of 20 people. But, if they do choose to do that, and insist on quoting rules, I feel compelled to point out whether or not those rules exist.
Petra, show me in the trade FAQ where it says anything about a six hour timer between bumps and then get back to me about whether you made it up or not...

I can't find the post Orvago made on here about it. He was the one set the 6 hour rule. The post on the trade board actually sets a 24 hour timer between bumps:

btw, just a tiny fyi. The rules atm are whatever I decide they should be. It's one of the perks of being ME.

You didn't make it up. You just applied it and asserted it to an FAQ. However, since it doesn't exist in the FAQ you are now asserting it to a post by Orvago. Unfortunately, that post doesn't exist either. But anyone who regularly posts sales threads on the non-existent Siege forum...
