Nice.

It's now a kind of curse that Ecru rings can have additional properties.. "blanks" with just the EP and nothing else, or at least desirable properties, would be much more adaptable. I have this Ecru ring, thinking of imbuing it if I find a buyer:

50 EP
8 Ninjitsu
7 HCI
2 FCR
5 LRC

the first thing i made with my crafter was a ring/brace combo
+13 magery each
+7 str each
+5 int each
15 LRC each

i also imbued my +5 mining gloves with
18 LRC
2 Stam regen
7 Stam increase

mostly because i am often overwieght when im mining and this lets me walk one step every few seconds lol

i was going to put the mage property on it, but i cant yet.. not enough skill

On Great Lakes I've seen some really good imbued warrior jewelry. Catch is, I, for one, won't pay those prices for something that will wear out. (Not to mention that I couldn't use those particular pieces anyway; no FC or FCR.)

I'm hoping that prices come down over time. But we'll see. I expect a very dynamic economy for some time to come!

the prices are because things are so crazy expensive to make..
at the 4 mod, once you mostly max out the other 3 you only have like a 3% chance of success..

my gm imbuer cant even add a 5th mod yet..

i do understand about the wearing out, but you cant get this stuff with runic kits and rng.. ive tried.

True....But for my part, what I'm most looking for is jewelry. And people do seem to get the pieces I want from normal loot, they just get bought faster than I find them.

My mind is surely open to an Imbued piece, especially if I can find a good demon slayer or some really good jewelry, but it's not part of my plan at the moment.

as far as demon slayer pieces those require some demon claws that my crafter cannot get at this moment..

Hi there,

my best item so far is a bracelet.
Magery 13
LRC 18.

Not that good maybe,but its done with 84 imbuing skill.

I made it to save some points in my cramped crafter template.


Not really much else to put there...maybe some stats.

I did put 40 imbuing on my tamer in order to help people train by saving them effort in unravelling things. And in return I will expect the following composite bows:
Demon/repond/reptile slayer
30% SSI
30-40% mana leech

And that's all... I may ask for hit lower defense as well.

I'm currently trying to find the ingredients for those weapons. The demon claws seem to spawn sloooooowly.

you simply need to buy pof. and better do it before people start imbuing their stuff (for keeping) and prices on pof raise to 150k

see thats the problem.. if they just auto make it 255 then we would all be ok

if you auto get 255 dura from imbueing then the tailors and blacksmith will complain that the things they make does not. so they get it, basicly anything have 255 dura then eliminating the use for pof at all.

thing to note is that jewelry has no durability(no wear and tear at all) before imbued, it is only reasonable that jewelry keep this advantage since it is naturally more durable than armor is in uo terms anyways.

much better solution is to make imbued items pof'able

What do you all mean about PoF? If you imbue a weapone with 50 durability, doesn't it cap at 150 durability after imbued automatically?
Are you saying that if you POF to 255 before imbuing, it stays at 255 after imbuing?

as far as i know, imbuing an item makes you unable to pof it at all, and answer is yes see screenie of my sword i posted. few posts above.

Oh I didn't notice the 255 durability. So that's is a good little feature then. PoF the items (which gives PoF more use), then get to 255, then imbue. That way they last you a bit longer. Nice.

This would defeat the entire purpose of Imbuing.

I always sold mine for 75k, even before imbuing was announced. I haven't sold any in a while because I wanted to keep some on hand for maxing the durability of my items for personal use before imbuing.

Just made this...it's at 490-something percent intensity, believe it or not, but is kinda underwhelming. I didn't realize that item weight multipliers had gotten so high.

Vet +10
Lore +10
and Str + 6

Should give him 120 Vet and Lore.

"We" doesn't include me....I've had to buy everything good I have; not a single piece I have is something I personally found, and the vast majority of it is crafted.

With Imbuing, if I wasn't such a stickler for items that would never ever go poof, I'd have way more choices and it wouldn't have taken me so long to get competitive equipment.

But alas....I'm so far inclined to keep using my "forever" equipment.

I don't want to wait another 5 yrs to have that perfect ring drop as loot. My toon is 120 tame/lore/vet/music/peace/discord and will try to get as close as possible to 100 mag. That's 820 skill points. Would be next to impossible to find the right stuff to do all of this.

Yeah, the whole weight thing is really weird and totally arbitrary as far as I can tell. On one hand, you have something like FC, which admittedly is a useful mod, but which is possible to get in quite a few different places (including 2 all at once on an Orny) and which some people choose to forgo entirely (protection users). Faster Casting gets a 1.4x weight. Then you have something like EP, which is generally considered *the* PVP jewelry mod, and it has a cheapo 1.0x weight. And then there's stuff like skills, which are much bellyached about around here, but which aren't really all that powerful on jewelry with 1.4x. And then there's the truly puzzling stuff: 1.4x for UBWS (which I can't see *anyone* putting on an imbued weapon), etc.

I know that the whole weighting thing came out pretty late in beta -- I'm kinda hoping it's still under review.

It's not about maxing out the properties so much as picking the specific properties you need to get a character's suit where you want it to be.
