SA monster bosses are highlly underpaid!

i went out last night and went on a rampage.

i racked up pretty much every spawn in SA and was dropping the renowned's everywhere, and the named rats and such.
and i came to a conclusion.

it is DEFINATLLY not good money to do the spawns in SA.

the loot is nasty
just.... nasty.

if you die once, and only have one item insured YOU LOOSE MONEY!

if you have to heal your dragon more then 3 times, YOUR LOOSING MONEY!

i was out for the adventure and fun, but come on man, there has to be some pay out for investing half an hour working the spawn and killing the champ.
holy smokes.

i estimate that the named rats have aprox 50,000 hp or more.

and they have 62 gold on them.

thats kinda funny, no?

Me and my guildmates have decided that the devs did this to stop constant macroing and farming. As far as I am concerned this is good, keeps the prices with the work involved even

I hear ya Poo... I am sick to death of these. There has to be a better way of preventing farming... all this does is make it not worth doing at all.

how do you figure that?

if you solo and it takes you half an hour to do it and 200 bandaids and you get 61 gold, how is an even price to work calculation?

cause a fella can go kill rune beetles and kill them in 2 seconds and get 1.7k per
or hell, you wanna farm in SA go kill the garg gardians and get 2k per second cause they drop so fast.

no, that dog dosnt hunt.

that and the fact that you cant really 'farm' in SA as you have to take 10 minutes to run in each time.

what i have a hard time getting my head around is that the spawn leeding UP TO the top boss all pay better then the top boss does.
even the level 1 critters.

my way of thinking is that the top boss should pay out what ALL the critters to get to him pay out COMBINED.
that makes scence to me.
or at the very least put some imbuing stuff on him or something like that.

fun = yes

but making some gold and some items to play with = funner

I think someone said there was a mistake in the renowned rats loot table - I certainly hope so, since it takes at least 50 points durability off a weapon to kill one, and PoF is like gold nowadays...

just to throw 2 cents in,, try going to the stygian dragon fighting it for almost 3 hours and only coming out with 11k, there was 7 of us we spent almost 3 hours killing this thing and each only came out with 11k and 1 person got the stygian dragon head (a deco item), but I agree the loot needs to be beefed up a bit!

Well, since the rest of the spawn has some good money on them, the bosses must be actually paying their workers.

So they just did a payday to get their mercenaries out there and the treasure bucket is a little low.


I'm on the fence on major money... but a few relic fragments or major imbuing ingredients would probably make it worth your while. or maybe a pretty teapot that dances.

you should see me at that rat spawn, whenever someones garbage hits the ground i go over and have a look at it.

im embarassed to say i walked out with a couple items that way the other night.
and that stuff is what... from players garbage cans throughout the shard?

The [Renowned] guys (well the ratman I killed anyway) are pretty easy really. I don't think Tikitavi did any more damage to my Cu than any of the other Ratmen, but yeah, they take for freaking ever to kill: a solid 15 minutes of thwapping. And for all that, their loot is comically awful.

Do they have some sort of rare drop or something that makes killing them worthwhile?

the place where the rats spawn.
that is a 'dump'
some of the stuff you see on the ground comes directlly from the garbage cans in game.

anything dummped into a garbage can has a % chance of dropping on the ground there.

so when your in there walking around youll see stuff like stuff made by peoples mules and just other garbage that people chuck away.

and if your a cheap scot like me you pick it all up and hurry it away to your house for safe keeping.
