A warning, unless things have changed, imbuing jewelry makes the jewelry mortal or more directly it gains Hit Points, 255 comes to mind, but I am unaware of any skill to repair Jewelry.

It may not be clear, but Gargoyles can wear Ear Rings and .... they can be Imbued, err, well unless things have changed that is.

During the Open Beta, I made some rings and Storm was an excellent source of information on them.

I think I had +15 Taming, Lore and Musicianship, with some LMC|LRC|Night Vision? It is kind of hazy as I did put some of that stuff on a Dagger I made, so yeah, if you have the money and the skill, you can make some very top tier items.

As tinkers can make them, can tinkers repair them? Has anyone tried or had a need to try yet?

As for the OPs post, I'm not sure yet. I don't know the system well enough but I have many characters with some quirky templates. They will benefit greatly from being able to mix and match skills on jewelry.

Tinkers can repair imbued jewlery. I just tried to repair a 255/255 imbued ring and it said "Item is in full repair".

My tamer is in need of a luck ring and bracelet with a min of 15 taming, not much else is really required for her suit. I will be on the look out for the best luck jewelery I can find then putting 7 or 8 taming on each piece.

Yeah great that was one of the issues I had and if memory serves me, several others as well.

That is truly great news.

There were some changes to weighting. If I remeber right, skills got a weight of 1.3 or 1.4. That makes it impossible to imbue more than 3*15 skill bonus onto a piece4. Gargoyle earrings are treated as armour pieces. What simply means that you cannot jewelry-only-properties onto them.

The earring was not that way in Open Beta but I recall a thread here where it was said they were going to do what you stated.

I do not recall any dialog (not saying your wrong) about that kind of weighting change. That is most certainly a sad change as Game generated Jewelry can have 3. I have a Ring that is a total of 42 Bonus in Animal Taming, Animal Lore and Musicianship, plus LRC and some other property, my Peace Tamer wears it I was going to imbue some things on it until I found out it made rings mortal. Even with the ability to repair the item, it isn't worth it to me to risk the ring on the whims of the designers.
