DEV's Problem with Locking down items

Is it just me or has anyone else found that you CAN NOT lock down almost all the items from SA???

I no longer can lock down crystal shards of any type, can't lock down ancient pottery fragments, can't lock down fur, or anything.......


WHY????

Is this some conspiracy against house designers and decorators????

Does anyone else have this problem???

I picked up this totally awesome cool looking Lava Elemental Skin..... and wanted to "show it off" on my front steps.... but come to find out I can't lock it down......

Got 2 void Orbs.... they are awesome looking if you set them on the floor.... but again can't lock them down...

WHY?

I used to use Crystal Fragments all the TIME as deco.... now I can't???? what's with that?

By the way this is in the 2d client.... saying "I wish to secure this" and "I wish to lock this down"...... neither one works.

This problem happens so often in uo, the "Things not locking down" Just be paitent. I'm 90% sure it's a bug, why wouldn't they let you lock down the stuff? There's no logical reason. So everyone just calm down and wait two weeks for the "Caution: Lock-down issues" then 2 months for the fix in a publish.

Just wondered if you tried locking other things down that are not new, because you might have the honor thing that stops your from locking them down. If that is the case go honor and kill something then try.

Ohhhh good thinking! Maybe I will go ahead and give it a whirl. I was just diggin' this new tailoring macro but it won't pick up on the new sewing kits after one breaks. That sucks!

I tried locking down Void Orbs, Fur, a thing I got from a spider, a crust of a fire elemental or some such..... Anyway I also tried crystaline fragments from ML and pottery fragments... I couldn't lock down ANYTHING there anywhere.... Was getting very annoyed....

I can't understand why this stuff wouldn't lock down... I wasn't doing it on new flooring or carpet.... was in my existing home and all.... Tried several homes.. but was a no.... didn't try another character... but I'm not sure the difference. At any rate it's very annoying.......

I got ZERO messages when I tried to lock it down...... I said both Secure and then Lock.... but neither worked.

I just locked down some fur, pelts,the deco base and a Slith tongue
no problem. This was in my original house as I have yet to pack it
up to customize it.
