My Clippers do not clip :(

I'm using it on a decoplant and it tells me it may only be used on a deco plant, I'm using 2D grrr

2D I cut almost all old plants. Those that only said "a decorative plant" would not cut.

Some that said decorative color (whatever color) did not. Unsure why.

Most old plants can be cut. yay!

Probably something to do with the Item ID for the various permutations of plants. I hope this will be fixed soon, I've got loads of plants to clip for staining!

Dear god I hope so. I ran around the shard buying all the old vendors with colors plants out. Cost me a small fortune. For me anyway.

Are the seeds you are trying to stack fully identified? Also are they freshly pulled from plants since the patch or seeds that had been in storage already?

Try using Poppy Dust on an "Unstackable Old Seed" and see if it becomes stackable? Maybe there's just a field that isn't properly set on them.

Tried clipping the plants that I saved up last night. I couldn't clip the ones that said "a decorative plant" (which is what most of my white ones say grr). I could however clip all the plants that said "a decorative" followed by the plant name (except for one bright green snake plant). I think I'll submit a bug report. Regine, could you look into this? Anything that says,"A decorative blue/white/rare fire red plant" (all colors) cannot be clipped. Anything that is descriptive, or simply A Decorative Plant seems to be ok

I think I have a problem clipping trees as opposed to plants.

Before you get crazy cutting up stuff, be aware that the clippers have two settings: (1) Cut reeds, or (2) clip plants.

You use "reeds" to make baskets and you use "plant clippings" to make dyes.

confirming this above.. I clipped all my old deco plants, which came around before SA . I could not clip about 5-10 of them and they were titled "a decorative plant".

For the record, they also don't work on Bonsai. That's not fair.
