Please need quick answer - How much gold can a vendor hold?

Can I sell items worth more than say 200 million on my vendor?
How will I be able to get the gold?

I believe you can sell for any price. They can hold any amount from selling but you can only pre-load them with a certain amount of gold. If you want to get gold off them just use the vendor's menu, I think it's "Retrieve gold." (It's towards the bottom of the menu.) The gold will be deposited into your bank box.

*Edit - Ok, ignore the first part of my post. I think I remember reading that they changed this.

The logistical problem with trying to sell anything worth more than 125 million gold is that no one can have that much on them or in their bank, and vendors won't take it out of your backpack. Which means the max anyone could pay on your vendor (not minding the 100 mil limit in pricing mentioned above) would be 125 million.

For anything larger than that, you're really going to need a broker, because your customers aren't keeping their money in their bank.

Thank you all... it was several items, so I was able to split it up on 3 vendors.
