How do you fix the UO Assist data stream thingy?

How do you fix UO Assist again

If I remember correctly, go inside the account name, inside the shard, then copy the folder of the char you want to use....paste that folder back (or up) one folder. NOTE: this may be problematic if you have the same name across multiple shards, but could be a short-term fix.

Go into the C: drive of your puter (usually) and go into the Program Files folder. Inside there is a folder called UOAssist. From there go into UOA-Settings, the name of your account. Within there is the different shards you have played over time. Go into the shard, copy the folder of the char, and go back to the folder with the account name and paste it there. REMEMBER-If you then play another shard that has a char with the same name it will be using the macros set up from the other shard then.
Get it?
I think the whole data streaming error thingy occurs whenever UO has a new patch and you have to wait for UO Assist to update on their end?..
but what these fine folks are talking about is that in the meantime, in order to get your UO Assist macros to work you need point assist in the right direction.
To do that, find your UOAssist folder - open the folder UOA-Settings - open the account folder you want to fix - now open the shard folder - locate the character you want and make a copy of that folder - now go back to the shard folder and paste your character folder in there - click on any document and highlight a letter or w/e and copy that so that you clear up the huge file you now have in memory (i always do this lol, but not necessary ;p)
And repeat for every character, until UOAssist updates.

Didja try Players forum in the UOA FAQ? Bet not ... look for the disappearing macros post in the thread.
