Do you have to enter the promo code in the same place as the upgrade code? It's giving me an error when I try.
No, I think you do that ingame using an option in the help section.
You redeem the promo code in game via the help button.

But honestly, where would you expect to find official info on an official early buy gift? Oh yeah, on an official website maybe.....oh whats this here is all the info on the early buy gifts.....If their having trouble finding this then god help them trying to figure out the Imbuing system lol.
