I won't be buying SA... because I've only been playing for a week. I still have a lot to experience and learn before I need to start worrying about SA. I grew up playing the Ultima series, so I know the Stygian Abyss dungeon will be challenging in the extreme and no place for a noobie to be wandering around.

All four of my accounts will be upgraded. The devs put a tremendous amount of work into this expansion. I was very impressed w/the beta and how closely they worked with everyone both in retribution and on the boards. There are some clever systems coming. One of the best expansions yet!
I am buying! Just one, for now.

Honestly I have never heard of a multiple account upgrade discount. Blizzard doesn't have them and yet they make millions more than EA does with their MMORPG. People do things for the strangest reasons.0 out of 5 Accounts will be upgraded for me. My son might do his, but that will be it for me. I would need to do 3 acct's & with no multi pack discounts, well I can tell ya where they can put it. Played here for 9+ yrs, put in every expansion, & they can't offer people multi pack discounts... Esp in today's economy for some! You would think a little $ would be better then nothing for EA, but I guess they don't look at it that way. They want it all or nothing, well they may get their wish on the nothing on 5 monthly too.
BTW this post wasn't directed only at you, it was also directed to anyone else who won't get the expansion or is quitting because of the lack of a multiple account upgrade discount.

I'd really recommend buying it now, since it's a gameplay changing expansion and its allways better to learn something fresh rather than try to alter your gameplay style later on.
With ML a 5 pack upgrade discount package was available. So we multi account holders do not expect less.
Unless such an offer comes, I will only upgrade one or maybe two accounts out of the 7 currently active.

Yea you might be right there.... I might get it. Just not sure to be honest. As I pointed out in the KR thread, I've already eaten up almost 5GB's of my 10GB per month bandwidth allowance. I might give it a day or two and see if buying the expansion from eastore initiates another download or if that's what publish 60 and the SA Enhanced Client download (which I'm currently 96% downloaded) has already and you just need to register the expansion to gain access to the new content. If that is the case then I might just buy it for the reason you mentioned. If it requires yet ANOTHER download... then I'll pass for now.
Actually, KR was free, as is the enhanced client. It's ML that gave the discount for a 5 pack.
I am a little lost here. What came out after ML that we could buy. ML was the last expansion. KR was a client, free to download and use.
the expansion upgrade that you'd be buying will just be a code that you'll go enter on the account management page that would then tell the system you have the expansion. The download for the new client was a seperate item and not tied to the expansion really (even though they shared the same name for a while).

I have purchased every upgrade/expansion since the lost lands with the exception of Third Dawn. I bought 0 of Third Dawn.
Whenever or if I do buy this one, it would be for all 4 accts. IF I buy it.
I have a wait and see attitude on SA ... I will wait see how yall like it, and maybe by Oct. or Nov. I will have my mind made up to buy it or totally forget buying it. Time will tell and NO I won't make a gargy chr. anyhow.

What? you do know that tinkers got their own personal craftable armies now?
Out of all the crafts its now probably the only one you can use as a field skill and not just as a skill on a craft-mule.

50 magery (you need it for cheaper recalls to soulforge)
Firstly, Don't buy the combo code as all active accounts have had the extra storage added to them allready so your just wasting money on that one.
As for the skills, to start imbuing with a headstart do -
50 Imbuing and 50 Item Id
Nothing else is really needed apart from the skills to make the items to imbue in the first place.

I don't know why some people are saying no because they don't want the extra download/bandwidth. It's pretty likely everyone will have to download it anyway. The code you buy just allows you to use the new content.

napa valley, two accounts, mainly crafters and harvesters, things on retribution seemed decent will buy for 2 and try to run through bug patches and fixes. with ea that's the norm 2yrs awaiting info 5 yrs of patches to fix bug in abox they call expansion.
The extra storage you are talking was 20%. With the 7th and storage code you get an extra 20% to your house and 20% to your bank. So that is 40% total to house and 20% to bank. Plus I will not have to delete any char to add a Garg for imbuing.
