What would stop a EM from giving in game advantages...for EXAMPLE this is what was seen....Im a stealther i was looking for differant angles for attacking shadow lords when i noticed 4 members of a guild on my shard event standing in the exact area were the shadow lord boss spawned as soon as he spawned all four members of this guild let the blockrock explode.. all im saying that if the EM was a member or is a member of this guild what would stop them from giving a heads up to guild members or former guild members or freinds??? tell me what you think??

1. EMs can't play on the shard they work on.
2. If such things happen and can be proved, then the EM would get the sack quicker than you can say "fired".
3. In this case, it's just people who had spies on shards that have done the events before. But the question remains.

I believe that there would be some improper acts from EMs, but this time (for anyone who remembers the old Seer program, that was a MESS) they are working hard to prevent it.

I would never suspect EMs to pass any secret knowledge. The players are clever enough to find ways by themselves.

Anytime you have a human being in charge of something, the potential for corruption exists. To deny it is to be naive. I know a few too many players (that will not be named here) that seem to always be in the exact right place, at the exact right time for me to not suspect that there is some degree of insider information being passed along.

You said it. Go to any event on a diff. shard and you will see everything so you can prep yourself for your shard event. The only thing that really changes at these events are the players. The rest is prestaged and set on a timer or when these things happen this will happen. All you have to do is know when and where and you get the prize.

i think its not the truth that EMs not play on same shard. on our shard i could see several times some vendors with crafted (NOT EM-stuff) having the crafters mark. and the mark was a well known EM. or is it possible to create a char with the name of an existing EM on that shard? i think not because that would be another problem.. but i never tried

You can, I've seen folks running around New Haven with the names of EM's....

Why wouldn't you be able to create a character whose name is used by an EM?

You just can't put "EM" in front of it, lol.

And there's always the possibility someone already had that name beforehand.

Having the same name may be possible, but I don't think they can have EM in it. An EM named Bob, a char named Bob np, a char named EM Bob I don't think you could do.

People have already been making the EM names for creating armor and doing fake events & such.....fun times fun times!!!
