mystic, vanquishing and power

When Brit was invaded some time ago weapons of mystic, vanquishing and power were dropped, and at the time we were told (pretty sure by Draconi) that these weapons did "damage you didn't see". Does anyone know if this still holds true for them, or was that feature only for that invasion?

There are certain monster that have special damage reduction that only these weapon can by-pass. For those monster it is still true. Although very few of the spawn now.

so my mystic bow on the shadowlords would do no good, that's what I was thinking about....

I would carry blackrock. But I don't think mystic will help you any. You can bring it along though, I do carry my mystic with me everywhere I go.

It depends on whether they have "berzerker shielding".

Yeah, but you wouldn't know for sure until and unless you get the killing blow
