I plan on running :
100 Hide
80 Stealth
120 mage
120 eval
120 med
120 resist

this leaves me with 60 extra points. I use a staff of the magi and have 15 dex.

Can anyone help me figure out what would be most useful to me with my last 60 points?

Chiv?
Ninja?
focus???

Thanks for any opinions,

Since your offensive skill is magery.. if you drop med to 60 you'll need a lot of mana.

Ninja at 60 is almost useless except for smokebombs.

Why 80 stealth and not 75?

100 Hide < Keep

80 Stealth < Drop to 75
120 mage < Drop to 105, all that will affect is your healing power and lvl 8 spells.
120 eval < Keep
120 med <
120 resist < Can keep or take, as a ninja I would drop it truthfully

But this way you can do 80 med and 120 ninja.

Honestly you run a mage template without parry or faction items (DCI) a fighter will eat your face off.:cursing:

Not necessarily, bokuto guys maybe, but archers you can still destroy. Explode, death strike, harm spam. Can drop dexers pretty fast.

Bushido 60 for healing on the run.

Or 120 ninja and follow what the others said, provided that you can run high MR gear.

I have a thing with numbers, 80 looks more nice than 75....i dunno, ocd or something.

75 is fine unless you want to use Shadow Strike!

Shadow Strike requires 80 stealth and 70 weapon skill ( if it is primary move on weapon ).

If Shadow Strike is secondary move, it will require 90 weapon skill and 90 tactics as well.

I'd suggest you drop the magery to 110, as it only takes 106 magery to cast 7th Circle without fail... going to 120 is for mage weapon users, unless you really need to summon at 100% success rate. It would free up 10 points.

He's using - mage weapon... 105 magery would be stupid.

I suggest he does 100resist and 80med because really 100 is good enough for PvP (and especially PvM) and 80med is not bad.

100str 125int 30dex should be the stats... have runic armor suits with 5ish MR and as much LMC as you can squeeze.

So to summarize...

120ninja
100hiding
80stealth
120eval
120magery
80med
100resist

100str 125int 30dex. (255 stat cap)

Now you can also do 100ninja, just use llama form

(wolf form is honestly great because of the +20 hp it gives you for getting away... which is why I suggested dropping resist to 100..., but if you want 120resist, 100ninja works fine.)

This is what I'd suggest...

Drop mediation to 100 and add Inscription upto 80.0 better yet...
drop magic resist to 100 and have Inscription at 100.0 .

It talks like a Mage, it walks like a Mage, It looks like a Mage, you should
have the skills of a Mage.

And if you choose not to hide... replace Stealth and Hiding with Necromancy
and Spirit speaking.

You could do the Soulstone swapping here with Stealth and Hiding...

Personally I would drop resist before going 100. 100 allows for about a 2-3 second para which is plenty of time to get ganked.

Resist is a 120 or 0 skill.

Based on his template he is a mage/stealther, not likely to be involved in heavy pvp.. so he doesn't need resist (If he was a pvp mage he would need wrestle/parry). Ninja is a nice skill for stealthing around in llama form, chiv and SW both have slight benefits at low skill. But if you go ninja, take it to 100 at least.

trapped box?

The 100 resist (really 80 is the minimum one needs for PvP) is for the stat debuffs from curse, etc... and for the poison spell resists...

120 is nice for para and all those mentioned, but again... a trapped box macro works fine, especially for a stealth ninja resist is more a luxury than a requirement.

... really? That's your argument... :talktothehand:

It's a stealth ninja mage template we're discussing here... resist DEFINITELY does not need to be 120... while nice, yes but required... lol?
Did I ever say required? Putting more words in my mouth?

saying it's a 0 or 120 skill doesn't imply that if the character has resist... it's not required to be 120?

:dunce:
