hello
I create a macro that say HealTarget, then i pull health bar of beetle, click on health bar, then hit the HealTarget macro. It worked for a while, then i run to bank, come back and that macro no longer work. Can anyone offer any insight into this situation? thanks.

Are you talking about the "Bandage target" macro in the classic client (legacy)?

If so, create a macro to do the following:

1) Select Nearest - Follower
2) Bandage Target

You need to enable the new targetting system (somewhere under options, but I can't remember off-hand).

What should happen is this -
1) Select Nearest - Follower
This brings up the health bar of the nearest follower. Follower includes all pets, summons, allured homanoids, hired npcs etc. So if you have 5 frenzied ostards with you, it will bring up the healthbar of the nearest frenzied ostard.

It will also set your current target (and last target in the UO client) to the pet that correspond to the healthbar. Note that it doesn't change your last target in UOA.

If no healthbar comes up, check the new targetting system as mentioned above.

2) Bandage Target
This will auto search your backpack for bandages and use it on your current target. Which is why the first step needs to be done first.

If it says no target selected (or something like that), that means step 1 did not run correctly.

Works best if you have only 1 pet. Not so well when you hunt with packs.

I use the SA targetting system and have a series of keys for healing stored targets.

It saves confusion for when my nearest follower isn't the one in need of healing.

On the other hand, if you have only one follower (i.e. a greater dragon), then heal nearest follower works every time.

If your using the SA_Enhanced Skin, then dragging the Health Bar of your multiple pets will give you the ability to heal/cure/bless specific pets as that skin puts a button on the Health Bar for Greater Heal, Cure, Bless. It goes so far as to analyze your skills and modify them according to your perceived template.

*Shrug* But to be honest, I compensate for the Target Nearest by putting the Target Next Follower action in a hot bar, such that if Target Nearest gets it wrong, I cycle through the Target Next until I get the one I want.
