I thought my saturday of UO was gonna be shot. But he gave every single item I lost back to me.

For a tamer this guy acted with some class, and I appreciate it.

After talking to my guild and his guild, I kinda felt like I was just being exploited. So since I never owed him in the first place since he agreed to do the trade when I was guilded, I really never owed him anything afterward.

The soulweavers potions. Lets see. I "acquired" an item that soulweaver "acquired from JSV and then Gujek "acquired" from me. So theres really no harm from me there either. I'm actually in the middle of a long chain of events.

So yeah, perhaps you should only speak of things you know. As my "wrongs" are greatly exaggerated.

For a general question, you sure were pretty specific in saying fixing the wrongs he did to other people, which doesn't imply you know, "donate to charity, etc."

Good job though. As for Cash, however way you put it, you still chose to do those said things. No matter the reason, no matter who did what first, you still chose to do it.

Bought on false pretenses, given hefty guild discount. When asked about it you said you would pay me to make up the difference. That alone should be enough, you said you would do something then went back on your word. Whether you feel I was owed or not, you said you would pay me and you didn't. It came down to IRL you wanted a PS3, so you said screw Kal, its just a video game. End of story.

*edit* BTW, how was I trying to exploit you? I wanted and offered to buy the weapon back for exactly what you payed for it. You were the first person to mention paying extra for it, because you knew you got a hell of a deal.

Being an asshat is one thing but being dishonest and misleading and all the deception and betrayal is just mind boggling to me. Doesn't make a bit of sense to me. i have played this game for 9 years and been in BD! the entire time until they left for WOW and i joined VmP and even in WOW we were in the exact same guild and everyone knew everyone's account info and NOT one time have anyone EVER stolen from the other one.

And they believe I had full intentions of leaving the guild. The only reason I was kicked from KOC was because Cash left so I could see what guild names were available. I was looking for name for my pvp school idea. I didnt intend to leave. I wanted to use the guild name as a recruiting tool and just ally KOC. I had no intentions of leaving. I even told sakie this and he told me that everyone pretty much wanted me out of the guild and that our ideas dont mesh.

Aka I am a carebear. and thats partially true.

So as I said I had no negative intentions when buying the weapon. I wanted to run a bushido mage and I needed a mage weapon. And this one was perfect.

And you asked me to sell it back, why would I sell it back? If I did that I couldnt play my character, mean while you dont even play a mage.

Mind you, I STILL use the weapon, I havent sold it for profit. If I wanted to sell it, by rights I would contact you first.

Pantero doesn't play anymore, and he doesn't read the boards, but I do, and I live with him. And he's right here.

The weapon came from a roll that he won from Lady Mel or Shimmering. He loaned it to you while you were guildies.

If you took it for so called justice, why did you tell him that you would try to get it back?

You even stood in his house and had him access you to an empty barrel, which you claimed you would return it to. (I was watching his screen during your entire interaction that night.)

Consider these are the official forums to the game in question, yes it's stratic's place to impose consequences. For the same reason I don't agree with the fact that people who do not have an active UO subscription are on the same level as those that do... in this place. Its ****ing bogus.

It was preferred in pre-tram days because the equip/dequip feature worked faster than UOAs (and UO had not yet had a macro for weapons.) The famous double hally hit was really hard to do without it... but doable. The less skilled picked it up to compete... *shrugs*

People care too much about the 3rd party apps out there. Most posts pancakes about them are people complaining about spilled milk. Now there have been a FEW programs out there that I'd say were really bad for this game... but EAs stamped them all out long long ago... hell, the 'speedhacks' these days dont even do anything really.

The real problems with UO are those like Arden who exploit bugs to illegally steal other peeps items or those like Cash who befriend people just to get close enough to them so they can take advantage.

3rd party apps haven't been anything to pancake about for years and years now..... IMO

And he's right. Probably 80% of this shard uses it (a guess) but it doesn't make it right. I know I've had numerous friends in the past that condone it (and probably still do) so all I can do is let them know how I feel about it and live on. It's also the reason I remain in a guild with only about 4 active members, instead of accepting any of the offers I've gotten on this shard.

As I said, it doesn't make it right, but since Stratics censors even the initials, all I can do is shut up & take it where Petra wants to give it (have mercy, Petra!)

Maybe there's so much confusion because you haven't been upfront about it. You didn't answer my question as to why you told Pantero that you would try to return it to him. When you talked to him, you never said anything to him about your reasoning... you simply said that Sir Daniel had it and you didn't know if you could get it back. I won't speak for anyone else, but I do think that others saw you say that you would attempt to return it, too.

Here's a thought: If you want to end the confusion, if you ever talk to Pantero again, at least tell him everything that you are claiming here, instead of BSing and saying that you meant to return the weapon to him, etc.
