We can´t imbue items with coloured ingots/wood?

Ooo, New 2-handed macing weapon. Conc Blow and Bleed attack (wood splinters). 20% damage increase while inebriated. and 10% barkeeper price mark-up (for stealing a bar-stool).

Have you seen the craziness that is the bamboo stool?

The devs felt that it was much more exciting to make people first imbue an item as much as they like, THEN attempt to enhance. Can you imagine the excitement? The trepidation? The hairpulling when you failed, yelling "why oh why did I do that!?"? And the imense joy when you actually succeed against all odds?

However, this topic just reminded me of something very impt. I forgot to test imbuing on a fishing rod! Did anyone try?
