Any chance of giving the Pheonix some love and putting the armour pieces back on it. I have 2 pieces and would love to finish the set off as i have with the old white deamon bone and rangers.
The only piece i ever saw for sale had long gone but that was 5mill about 2 years ago.

I'm sure you probably know this, but Phoenix Armor never actually spawned on the Phoenix. It was a reward from the Clean up Brittania event back in '99 (Which was basically like the recent spring cleaning.)

It would be neat to see something like Phoenix Armor replicas spawn but since it doesn't really have any properties (other than being orange and blessed) and pretty low resists it wouldn't be good for anything but deco...

I have full sets of ranger and daemon bone armour for imbuing, should it be possible.

I was hoping those dull-coloured invasion armour suits will be imbueable, but I think I read somewhere that they won't. I don't see the harm, but then I guess with staining there'll be little desire for the more subtle colours that came from the ranked invasion forces. Still, there were some nice hues.

I don't see why they wouldn't be. It's not like they're even renamed or have any unique properties, just a plain re-huing.

I'd understood that normal items can be imbued to a lower weighting (450) than exceptional (500), but I'm not aware of it needing to be a GM made base item - but of course, I could be wrong!

The metal suits smelt down to iron so I have my fingers crossed that I will be able to imbue my sets also.

Several months after the original cleanup Brittania was finally over the rumor started that these armor pieces still dropped off of the actual creature. Many times you would find your friendly red sneaking nearby to kill you. But it was just that... a rumor.

I don't recall anyone ever thinking, suggesting or even conjecturing that pheonix armor ever spawned outside of the clean up brit program.
