the one post I saw on that thread that I thought would be kinda cool was the one about making the colours more like warpaint. Just kinda have different tattoo designs rather than monochrome pets. I doubt it will happen, but it would definately work for me...
I remember My Little Pony... I used to have a ton of those when I was a kid... *fond memories*

In this instance, I fail... to care. A few would be sweet, but the others are ... So either way, matters not to me ^^
Well, none of the colours are actually neon bright, no 'invul blue' or 'fire red'. The only use I'd put it to would be on my fire beetle, to tone the darn thing down a bit.
However since you have to complete a quest to get the stuff it's likely we won't see all that much of it on Siege.

I like Dark Red, Forest Green, Dark Orange, Dark Blue, Dark Blue, Black and White.
I don't like Off White, dull green, blight red and blight blue.
I don't think the colores should work for horses, llamas, unicorns and polar bears

At this precise moment, I am so glad that I'm blind.
I'm all for new colors, but I'd prefer they do the old school:
Val, Verite, Aggy, Gold...etc etc

HEY NOW...one of my most comical PKS ever was on Chesapeake in 2000 when they made trammel and everyone was making new pks called carebear...I MADE RAINBOW BRITE and killed peeps with her comically exterminating em in HUES OF RAINBOWS.......... well I had fun anyhow playin Rainbow Brite the *blue pk* !
Sneaker that way, ahem to look all trammificated and blue..and I'd KILL with a name like Rainbow Brite. They some reds done... thunk I was a trammie newbie of UO entering felucca for the first time.... as I drylooted their corpses.
Anyways she was one of my more comic fun pks on Chessie kept her blue...under them 5 counts all the time ...suckered em in with the name...Rainbow Brite..well till they got wise to her true nature, that is.

Well colored ponies itself is nothing new...faction ponies were colors.
So a red dragon can be Minax, a black polar bear can be Shadowlords lol
I still have a dk. blue ostard on Ches. from when the lost lands were new.

This idea has two redeeming qualities- at least they chose somewhat muted colors instead of blinding neon colors. The dye only lasts 7 days....that is, unless people cry and whine like my 3-year old princess that it should be longer (or permanent) and the devs give in to it.
Well, if they made it permanent... then after awhile no one would do the quest or whatever you to to get the dyes anymore because no one would need the dyes anymore. And as I see it, the 7 days is enough, but it should wear off if the pet dies.

Ok, i'll agree if they let me put a vet reward cloak on my greater dragon.
Not until WE get to wear our vet cloaks with our quivers, first !

Hey Queen Zen I find my self strangely drawn to the Evil Lil Pony, but I don't know about all these dyed pets. Especially light red, which is really pink, Cmon a pink nightmare?
Speaking of... how is Enigma doing? I haven't seen him in a few weeks.
LOL, butters! He is doing just fine. He is in one his anti-UO moods. He just picked up the expansions to Fallout 3, so it might be a few more weeks until you see him.
