I realize that, but I'm a big fan of not being stranded somewhere without some LRC to get home/somewhere.

I can make up the LMC somewhere else as well.

I'm most likely going to get destroyed anyways as a Necro-Mage. I have always love necromancy and have been an on again, off again mage. I prefer dexer template, but I really like the necro-mage for a 700 skill point account.

Is necro as weak as it seems currently? Seems that Chiv, Faction Bandages, Apples, etc. all turn Necromancy into a quivering pile of dooky as far as curses go.

They're not too terribly hard to put together, if you don't mind crappy resists. A little harder if it doesn't include jewelry.

I'd still charge more than 15K for one, but only because I'd hardly bother to pick 15K up off the ground, much less go to the effort of stocking a vendor for it.

It depends if people bother stocking up on those things.
If you're PvPing you're more likely to run across them than if you're PKing.

I'm just mainly looking for a training suit currently for Necro and something so I don't have to stock reags while I use elementals & energy vortexes (Vorteci?) to farm a bit.

Just need to get a little something started.

Get some arcane clothing and kill golems/controllers for arcane gems.

You get like 18 casts per gem if you recharge a 120-skill arcane piece yourself.

They are not hard to put together for me, except right now I cannot find any lrc tunics to save my life. I sell the jeweled suits for 15k and the non jeweled suits for 50k. I try to stock them as needed. So when I sell out I do a little farming. I try not to keep it unstocked for more than a day.

And wulf I do not farm just for lrc pieces but If I see them I grab them and it takes me less than a minute to count up to 100 and put the pieces in a bag.... though for others it might take longer. Arcane gems are fine but for a noob I don't think killing golems and controllers is going to be very efficient, and especially not for training.

I'd think controllers would be pretty easy, and great for training, but I've never trained necro seriously. With 18 necro spells, I'd think that's more than enough to kill a controller, no?

0 currently. *grins* I'm finishing up some transactions to get some cash to purchase spellbook, etc.

Get a random high level necro scroll that you have 0% chance of actually casting, and just fail it over and over and over again. I think you can get to 30ish that way without using a single reg.

Don't really see random necro scrolls on vendors these days, it's all full books.

Don't have the reags currently to fight something that might drop it, don't have the skills [converting a semi-finished crafter account] to do anything without reags, don't have the money yet to buy reags.

The LRC suit is really the way to go because I'm still going to need it after 30.

I'll get there. The issue really isn't how to raise my necro, it's that I want to buy a Scrapper with LRC and is there one out there for sale?

I'm not making a LRC suit with the scrapper's, I just like having that 10-20% chance of being able to gate home if I get dirt napped somewhere and the LRC helps on occassion.

scrapper with lrc is possable but very rare . youll prob have to spend a mil or more to get one . however a boomstick may provide what you seek and can be bought for probably a couple hundred k . (20 lrc and 3 mana regen ... blessable)

i collect lrc pieces all the time for my pvmer ... currently im seeking a suit with good resists and actually just donated most of my low resist stuff to NEW . however i probably still have enough of the cheaper pieces to make you a paper suit if all you want it for is training ... (paper suit = wont have enough resists to save you from an angry mongbat ... but it would build skill just fine)
