Thursday, July 16, Cartel Factions [$CF$] invited the Baja Stratics reporters to a prime time Harrower at Despise. Shae and I passed through Cartel's outer defense area
and into the area where the Tentacles had spawned.
Cartel was still unopposed when the True Harrower spawned.
As Cartel had the True Harrower down to almost half life, Shae, who had gone out to the Cartel defense line, informed me that Spawners Inc [SI], had arrived at Cartel's outer defense line. It wasn't long before I heard that the line was being 'Splintered' by SI and associates.
A ninja, Splinter, Ultimate Power [PwR], took advantage of a weakness on the Cartel defense line, and opened a hole for SI and others to get into the Harrower area.
As I tucked myself into a corner and tried to stay out of the way, SI began pouring in and taking control of the area, attacking any Cartel remaining in the Harrower area.
Cartel Factions had reformed outside at the defense line, and began their retaliation attack against SI.
Meanwhile the SI inside took over killing the Harrower.
Then Cartel broke through SI's outer defense and started appearing in the Harrower area again. SI started building a defense line inside.
Even though the Harrower was defeated, the battle was far from over.
Cartel Factions was pouring into the area, blocking off SI's exit.
I began my way out of the Harrower area, trying to stay behind so I wouldn't inadvertently block anyone else's path.
There were so many fields blocking my exit, I finally decided to just walk through them so I could get further out into the area where the primary fighting had moved to.
Once outside, our Cartel Factions hosts were waiting for Shae and myself to get us rezzed and out of the area. Once we were out, Cartel and SI members met with their respective guilds and began reviewing the battle to help prevent future mistakes and to plan strategies based on experience.
