Question on imbuing and repairing

He's information is incorrect. You can defintely repair imbued jewleries (with tinkering skill). Samething goes for all imbued items.

Jewleries came with no durability, but as soon as the first imbued mod land on it, it will give you a straight 255/255 durability. You cannot re-powder it but 255/255 is already max which will last you quite long time.

Samething for all other items, if you want to imbue an item and want it to last, powerder it to 255/255 before you start imbuing. And if you use them carefully and dont be dumb and use your item like its a throw away pos and dont repair them before it starts cutting into the max durability, even under heavy usage it will last you quite a few month if you farm 23 hours a day 7 days a week (years for casual players).

For killing slimes its good to have spell channelling imbued/existing on the weapon which avoids their acid damage. (why are you using a godly imbued weapon on slimes when you can pick up those 8 gazillion different powerderable weapons in game with hit area and kill them fast).

Also being hit my a macer causing 350% more chance to get a durability lose compare to all other damage sources in game including spells. So dont just sit there and let a macer hammering on you. (a lot of people are gonna hate macers when imbuing comes out)

That should solve most imbued item repairing/powerdering questions.

Thanks WarUltima. That is consistent with what I thought. Also, nice news on the slimes. I did not know that SC made a difference (not that I would use an imbued weapon for them). Do you know why SC makes the weapon avoid the acid damage?

See big thing is that jewelry can not be powder target without durability. Before all this imbueding came to the surface. So to ease things once jewelry is imbued it gains an auto 225 durability. Unlike a weapon that may have like 55 durability at loot/crafting. So the reason POF will see high use before imbueding weapons and armor/shields.

So you hit that perfect dark saphire bracelet with 2mana regn and 2 other right mods. Or got your hands on a none cursed OoM. Theese we can only hope never get durability or not.
