....I'm gonna give my initial thoughts on this gargoyle nonsense.

1) Dragons doing the humpty dance at a bank or event is not nearly as tiresome as these wings flapping.

Gargs do lose stamina while flying unless they have high enough stam regen to counter act it or high focus.

i haven't messed w/ expansion. the only part i'm interested in is killing people in the new zones which i'll get to do once it comes out, and once I recruit a navigator.

I didn't get a chance to use the classic client in beta since noticing this, but my wings did stop flapping after about 15 seconds or so of standing in place in flight. They're still large, but at least not moving.

I noticed at least in the "enhanced client" that if you sit idle long enough they do a flip or something else, i cant recall. That doesn't help with lag though.......
Maybe we should be able to clip they wings like parrots!

I tried it right before the open beta was shut down and when my garg ran out of stamina it could only fly at walking speed. I had to imbue at least 4 stamina regen on my suit and have over 50 focus just to be able to fly around. Good luck to all those people who will be making gargs for pvp (I know I won't).

Evidently throwing is worth it if you figure out the sweet spots it gives you bonus's to damage. Although I didn't see it and I don't think throwing is worth making a gargoyle. They should never make a race exclusive skill. It's one thing if they get bonuses to a skill but it's completely different making a skill only usable by a race and I'm surprised the closed beta people didn't bring that up.

Heck, I have human characters w/ 150dex who get their stamina drained from running around. It's so annoying. I can bank everything on me & it still happens. Needless to say, I don't play those characters because it gets annoying having to chug refresh pots so much when I shouldn't have to.

Forgive me, this may be bit of a "newb" question, but do you lose stamina when "pushing something" out of the way. If your character is in feluccia and you fly through another character.... Do you fly over them? Or through them? I haven't had a chance to test the Beta, so I'm not sure what the answer is. From a PVP perspective and to make things fair, I would guess that you do lose stamina when flying over/through someone.
