Character with broken stealth...

edited: problem solved... was using modified skill and his natural stealth was too low... doh.


been using a stealther for five years and never knew that would happen with item bonuses heheh.

Are you sure you didn't stone it off for some reason?

How much stealthing do you have?

Is that actual Skill or item based?

Have you tried it with your journal open and does it say anything like:

"You've been Revealed!"

or

"You fail your attempt at Hiding."?

Ok I have been looking everywhere... paged three times... all canned messages. My character has the required skill to stealth, all medable armor, Can't stealth. He will go into hiding, but if I try to walk I will just simple leave it as if I don't have any skill in it. If i use the skill from the menu I will get "you begin to move quietly" and then first step and I leave stealth.


Anyone know what causes this and maybe how to fix it?

whats your hiding and stealth at excately? To basically stealth without being revealed most the time think hiding has to be gm and stealth 80 thats for meddable leather armour/mage armour though.

It's 75 to never fail, not be revealed. 80 is to use some move in ninjitsu.
